  1. Black Opel Ampera. Looks really neat in black!
  2. Stupid name... K9 would be so much more fun!!! If KIA felt they'll need to ram some serious incentves into consumers in order to move it out of dealres they should have called it the KY
  3. Weird as Hell, but really neat at the same time
  4. Astra Convertible is going back to a soft top; no more Astra CC As the ADAM is concerned, maybe Buick could revive the old Buick Opel name? After all, Opel's founder name was Adam Opel, so it's just a matter of picking the other name You want a Buick Eve??? That could be the convertible model...

  6. Congratulations!
  7. If that 8-speed auto is able to produce noticeable fuel economy gains, pairing the turbo-diesel with it would be a no-brainer IMHO. BTW, and apologizing for the cheap shot at GM, GM was supposed to develop its own version of the VM V6 turbodiesel, wasn't it? Supposedly for the Cadillac CTS (though spreading it to other brands/models would give it the potential scale GM official like to talk so much about)... Guess that idea went bankrupt along with Old GM...
  8. What's the point of the LaCrosse, then? And, once one questions the point of the LaCrosse at its current price point, one starts wondering about what the point of the XTS is as well...
  9. Yep. Unless they can sell the NG Corsa for MINI/500 prices in the US, and thus offer a larger and slightly more substantial car (though most likely way more mass-market-styled than this - BTW, I don 't like the ADAM's styling). The engine choice for this (at first at least) is ridiculous; they should have waited for the new 3-cyl and 4-cyl small engines and fitted a diesel in.
  10. 192 inches is 4877mm (Euro BMW 5-Series is 4899mm long; Euro E-Class is 4868mm long - both pretty much on the 192in mark). Cadillac won't go over that length (well, maybe by an inch, but not more than that). The almost 10 inch gap to the ATS is more than enough (and emulates BMW and MB).
  11. @ reg - that's what camo is supposed to do: hide the details
  12. Hmmmm... Booze & Sex? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d27opCCfhXQ
  13. OMG! OMG! OMG! J/K; a piece of plastic isn't really that exciting... It does not reveal anything about the car's overall appearance...
  14. 500 X > 500 L by far (the raised body works better IMHO) Still, they both do not really look '500' if you know what I mean... MINIs seem to be more consistent overall, even the mini-SUVs...
  15. Survival of the dumbest?

  17. White Chevrolet Volt; 1st I've seen with a Portuguese license plate (seen a couple Amperas rolling around Lisbon over the last 2 or 3 months).
  18. Wonder how different the Escalade will be this time around... I'd love the Escalade's styling to be more differentiated from the other two frame-mates; the current one seems to differ (on the outside) only in front clip, tail light design, and wheel design.
  19. The new A-Class is very cool (hope a 3-door is shown soon)! The B-Class, while being a total snooze-fest, is different enough from the rest of the US Mercedes lineup as to be able to spike some interest in buying an electric version of it (a city-only car, basically). I personally wouldn't like to see a slow electric C-Class (for example - it works for any other RWD/AWD Mercedes model) offered.
