  1. :rotflmao:You're right, it looks bad.
  2. Cadillac can do the 4 seater thing with the CTS. thinking of DCX as an example, think Mercedes CLK. IMO the XLR should stay as a 2-seater, but I think some Evoq elements (the thin mini-fin tail lights) would be nice to see if an MCE happens.

    Gas prices?

You guys in America are really lucky! Over here it's around 1 Euro / $1.3 per liter of diesel and roughly 25% more for unleaded (95 RON which is the lowest octane grade available in Portugal).
  8. The Dodge-like wheels don't help either.

    MINI Cooper D

Not relevant to NA, but interesting news: new MINI Cooper Diesel presented. Click http://www.motoringfile.com/2007/01/16/min...d-now-official/ for the article. I sat on a brand new Cooper S last monday when I was waiting for my '04 One D: materials aren't much better, but (to me) it looks like build quality is better than my car. Gaps between interior components seemed noticeably smaller and that might give it the better built look. I'm going to wait a few more years before I trade my car, but I have to say the MINI is one entertaining car to drive, so maybe this new Cooper D will end up being my next car. EDIT: I think the MINI One will get a 'D' version with the 90hp PSA 1.6L diesel engine, which should be even more frugal.

Yeah, it has that Z3 coupe look in the back.

    3-door BMW 1-Series

I think BMW still owns the M1 name, but it might remind people of a certain BMW mid-engined supercar from the late '70s / early '80s. Maybe they can pull a Renault Clio V6 with it: lose the rear seats and put a big engine behind the driver

  15. It's less and less about nationality and more and more about where resources are most efficiently employed and where taxing is most favourable. I don't know Dutch Tax Law details, but The Netherlands is known in Europe for having a very favourable tax system, especially for holding companies and foundations. IKEA, for example is owned by foundations based in the Netherlands: these foundations own controlling stakes in the company and their reason to exist is 'for the advancment of interior design'.

  24. CTS. The SLS appears to be based on the current STS basic layout, while the CTS looks like designed from scratch. The SLS still looks light years ahead if the STS though.
  25. Happy birthday!
