    camry craze

It will be interesting to see toyota take a dive due to the push to get the camrys out.
  2. Amazing they actually put it out there.
  3. Makes sense, but does adding 2 years add quality?
  4. Maybe the point isn't the styling, but rather the chassis. It wouldn't take much for GM to spice it up.
  5. Let's do some thinking about this "plan" presented by Automotive news. GM is keeping thousands of employees in Canada to build just the Camaro at approx 100,000 units in late 2008. Does this not make sense to everyone else too? If GM is going through the trouble to prep the plant for 1 rear wheel drive vehicle, the others have to follow shortly (not in a 1 1/2 years) after for financial reasons. SO, this could mean the new rwd vehicles coming out will be 2010 MY vehicles, but they should be on the streets in 2009. And what about the mid-size rear wheel drive vehicle Holden is talking about. Could that be a good alternative for more products? NOTE to GM: Most companies are having great success with small wagons / hatchbacks right now. Please consider a smaller wagon than the HHR. Possibly one with a 1.8 liter engine that gets 40+ mpg.
  6. I kind of wonder if GM got the $3 per gas problem? No GM division noted smaller lighter better gas mileage vehicles, yet a Hummer H4 is mentioned.
  7. I thought Saturn was getting more thought and attention than this.
  8. Where is Chevy's version of the Enclave/Outlook?
  9. Glad to hear 2008 is an update for the Colorado / Canyon vehicles. Not bad chassis, just cheap looking.
  10. Like Pontiac, this seems like a rather thin well dated line over the next few years. Please GM, have something in store that's a little more exciting than this.
  11. Seems like a rather thin well dated line up over the next few years. Does this bring Pontiac down to 3 vehicles in 2009? G5 G6 Solstice Something doesn't fit.
  12. With todays gas prices, it makes sense that Buick will also won't a smaller, Malibu, sized vehicle. Especially with the Hybrid option. Babyboomers are into "fixing" the environment and they are getting old. What better vehicle than a Buick that is a Hybird.
  13. Could this be the same small compact rear wheel drive Pontiac is looking for? Think about it. Saturn = Opel Pontiac = Holden Lowers building costs, gives each division its own identity.
  14. 2008, as rumored?
  15. Interesting that they kept the old AM/FM stereo rather than give it the Black Tie look.
  16. Dealer Order page for 2007 Chevrolet Silverado
  17. We can only hope the Malibu will follow in 2008.
  18. Very interesting. Thanks.

    I'm pregnant

    Congrats!!
  20. I got a 2002 BMW 3-series rental car with less than 2000 miles back in 2002. The engine had a rattle and the car was thrown all over the road by the ruts. It didn't turn me on.
  21. Portland was one of the first, if not the first, to move away from the spreading disease. This includes making rowhomes/condos a hot commodity ($250,000 for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo), and forcing mass transit. It's not a bad idea, as long as I'm not the person paying a crap load for a box on top and below another box. Country livin is the place for me. Check out these$500,000+ lofts near downtown Portland. Well ok, they do have a bottom floor 1x1 for a little over $200,000.
  22. Funny. Now about that Impala . . .
  23. Part of Saturn and Pontiac's problem are product. Newly designed product always excites a buyer longer. Think of it. You've been shopping around for that new car and decide to take the Ion home. Once you get home the first thing that happens is the neighbor comes over to talk to you about your new car. With that he shows you his kids new civic. Obviously the civic is a much nicer car than the Ion. No longer is the excitement of the Ion there. Now redo the same situation with a newly designed Astra, or ???
  24. Your point is well made 76ChevyTrucker. I too agree acura is loosing their way.
  25. Right off the bat, the PT Cruiser doesn't offer the same in the saftey department.
