  1. Wait so this is just a teaser. And technically a teaser car is only shown for a look at future styling cues, but will never be produced. So basically the MKS isn't worth getting too excited over.
  2. I have no idea what those options mean.
  3. Sorry, but I'm with BV. I'm sick of the need to look toward the past in order to appreciate what we actually have now. Just because the Lesabre looked like $h! doesn't mean the Lucerne is gorgeous. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Lucerne isn't enough to change consumers' perceptions of Buick. Derivative doesn't spark a turnaround, a neither will Lucerne.
  4. That looks like something out of a Fisher Price catalog.
  5. Yes, but there's something about the silky-smoothness of I-6's that's always attracted me.
  6. I'm guessing because it's a concept headed for production(?), but still.
  7. Yawn. I couldn't care less. And it has nothing to do with what badge it wears. I found it thoroughly uninteresting in person when it debuted and think it looks dated after just a few short months. I find the fact that you're using Toyota to bash sciguy funny after you've defended every recent Chrysler debut regardless of how homely and uninspired most have been. sciguy is basically always objective and open-minded in his posts, so the Camry remark doesn't make much sense. He could just as easily mention the Aspen, Compass, or Caliber (among others) and say the same about you.
  8. The SSR was a slug with a 300-hp V8. It would be downright laughable with the I-6. Simply put, the SSR tried to be too many things at once and ended up being good at little. The uselessness of the pickup bed certainly wasn't made up for in performance, and the interior was just "okay", especially for $42,000. It found few buyers because it couldnt' be used as a truck, and wouldn't be purchased for it's performance. In the end, the only real reason anyone would buy one was for it's looks. And to the vast majority of consumers, the SSR was downright goofy. Not exactly a formula for success. I'm not sad to see it go.
  9. I'm so glad I missed the 80s. Cars were $h! back then.
  10. And they'll be enforcing the first two how?
  11. I bagged the goofy Challenger.
  12. Lately I've gotten into the habit of drinking more and more water. I'm 16, and prior to this year, I rarely drank water at all. I've noticed that I feel healthier overall and have really learned to enjoy it. I drink both bottled and tap water (I don't prefer one over the other), but know people who refuse to drink tap. Personally, I have no problem filling up straight from the sink. Recently I've learned that tap water can actually be better for you than anything out of a bottle. According to some recent studies, bottled water can have more bacteria and less fluoride than regular old tap water. Moreover, bottled water isn't held to the same standards regarding filtration, and generally has less minerals and nutrients than tap water. I've noticed that the slight 'chlorine' aftertaste that tap water is sometimes known to have dissolves after just a few short hours in the 'fridge, so lately I've been drinking more of it. What do you drink?
  13. God the Challenger is frumpy.
  14. Automakers have officially forgotten how to design a well-proportioned compact car.
  15. The Statesman is incredibly dated. The fact that it's RWD doesn't outweigh the sheer blandness of it's design.
  16. This has just as much of a place in Acura's lineup as Cadillac's upcoming BRX. This is the first Acura in quite some time that doesn't impress me from a styling standpoint.
  17. The current Camry is more attractive.

    Brenda Priddy is your Mom?
  19. No, the rear is much classier looking than that. :AH-HA_wink:

    IS350 Review

    Are you being serious?
  21. I was involved in a five-car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike while riding in a friend's old Toyota Previa. We all walked away with minimal injuries after mulitple impacts with other cars and eventually, the guardrail...so I guess the Previa holds a special place in my heart.
  22. That era of GM minivans was absolute garbage, so aside from styling (which other than the nose isn't particularly similar), I wouldn't bash the Previa.

    BMW 3-Series

Are you guys seriously looking at this and passing it off as real? I've never seen such a "dirty" car look so shiny before.
  24. It's between Red Hot Sex and German Beauty for me. I'd lean more toward German Beauty for it's scenery and colors, though. The Porsche is hot, though a similarly angled Solstice in Deep would fit right in. Photoshop anyone? :AH-HA_wink:

    IS350 Review

Last I heard Lexus had plans for an IS coupe and convertible in addition to the IS500 M-fighter mentioned above. The IS350 is not meant to compete with the M3, especially considering the M is at the end of it's life cycle and a new e90-based model is on it's way.
