Exactly. As far as current Cadillac owner stepping up, the STS is generally the end of the line. The DTS caters to an entirely different market (one that GM should relegate to Buick alone), and isn't something that an upsizing CTS or STS owner would likely trade their car in for. Certainly not an effective plan if Cadillac plans on retaining buyers.

Let's try this again... That's called evolution. Rehashing a design that past it's freshness date 3 decades ago (and hasn't been around since) is an entirely different practice. The 3-Series has evolved over several generations into what it is today, unlike the Challenger.

The retracting top looks to stand extremely upright. At this point, the resulting decklid looks really long and disproportionate.

When was the last time your vision was checked? The Legacy is without a strip of cladding. Go sit in a G6 and then a Legacy. That should clear things up.
