  1. It'll be interesting to see what automakers do to modernize an already decidedly retro design. It defeats the entire objective behind producing a retro-styled vehicle and should be the most challenging aspect.
  2. Dunkin' Donuts coffee blows Starbucks away. I'm not talking price-wise either.
  3. I saw my third Sky on the road yesterday. Black. Damn sexy.
  4. Any last-minute responses? Things are wrapping up on this as we speak.
  5. Why is the Terraza still around? Pontiac sells twice as many SV6s and they've already discontinued it for next year.

    Spied??

Something about the second-to-last picture says either previous-gen Impala or current-gen Lacrosse minus all the chrome. I can't really decide which. EDIT: It's the upcoming next-gen Hyundai Elantra.

  11. Cobalt gets a redesign for '08? That's news to me.
  12. Do they? It's becoming less and less clear lately. Compass, Caliber, Aspen, Durango, Commander, and now this? Looks to me like DCX's design rennaissance has come to a steaming halt.
  13. "File Not Found" Anyone care to re-link these?

  16. A local Mitsu dealer is offering a free Gallant (3-yr lease) upon purchase of a Raider.
  17. You'll be waiting for a long, long time. Saturn is set to become one of GM's strongest brands very soon.

  19. Yes! Another cookie-cutter midsize performance sedan from GM!
  20. Aside from Oldsmoboi's disaster, you guys can do A LOT worse than this.
  21. My Dad replaced his '03 Dodge Dakota with a brand-new Inferno Red '06 Dakota today. It was an impulse buy to say the least. A water-pump had gone on his '03 earlier today, so he brought it directly to the dealer for service. Instead of coming home with a repaired '03, he came home with a new '06. The dealer practically gave the thing away (he had several months left on his original lease). It's a fully-loaded Dakota Laramie complete with the 4.7-liter V-8, leather interior, 17" Aluminum/Chrome Wheels, upgraded Infinity sound-system w/ in-dash 6-disc CD/MP3 player, SIRIUS Satelite radio, and just about every other imaginable option. It stickered for just over $34k, yet he's paying $70 less per month than he was with his '03. The dealer is also paying for the first month. I know it's not the best-looking truck out there, and I was hoping he'd hold out for the Avalanche, but it was really a deal he couldn't refuse. Still, I think it looks great. The 17" wheels and chrome trim really make it stand out, and the color is gorgeous. I'm actually warming up to the way it looks. I'm happy for him because he normally doesn't treat himself to anything as feature-packed as this truck. I drove it for quite some time earlier tonight, and I was really impressed. I'll have a complete review up in the near future. Stay tuned.
  22. No.
  23. When I said the Caliber is a disaster, I made no reference to sales. I was in one last week. Build quality was appalling, with ill-fitting panels and misaligned pieces both inside and out. Interior fit-and-finish was atrocious, and road-noise was more obtrusive than any modern car I've riden in. Yes, styling is subjective, but unless all you're interested in is standing out, I fail to see the Caliber's appeal.
  24. I rented that exact same Grand Prix from Hertz at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport last month.
  25. The Saturn Astra bows for late '07. http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...E/60508001/1041
