  1. Judging by that video, I wouldn't want to be in a G6 'vert during an accident like that. How is it rated?
  2. The 1 series is in a different league than the others on that list.
  3. The second "teaser" is fake.
  4. Yeah, I'd say the Intrepid is just about the WORST example of this.
  5. After three years on the market, the IS250 still looks infinitely better than this.
  6. reg, we get it. You don't like Acura. The fact that you just posted a picture of a Bonneville's interior in this thread kills any credibility you had. Go drive a TSX and a 9-3 back to back. There's a reason the Saab has always lagged behind in this segment.
  7. It's not that bad. No one should have expected a new-from-the-ground-up RL.
  8. Where did my post go?
  9. Bigger pic:
  10. This is similar to what Oldsmobile did with the Aurora...If I remember correctly, the word "Oldsmobile" didn't appear anywhere on second-gen, and Oldsmobile gave the car unique emblems. In doing this, the average consumer with no knowledge of what a "Genesis" is will have to dig deeper for information about it (although I believe the Hyundai logo will appear on the rear of the car). Personally, I think Hyundai would be better off creating its own luxury division to sell the Genesis, and any future high-end models, through. Judging by Hyundai's superbowl ads, such a division isn't going to materialize. If they plan on it, now would be the time.
  11. I'm really not a fan of the exterior. The added length makes the third window look awkwardly long. And the rear is just plain ugly. I hate cars like this, different for the sake of being different. Yeah, it looks mildly different from the other Lambdas. But is it original or good looking?
  12. How is this better than the Camaro? Seriously, it looks like something that came out in 1999. Plus it could belong to ANY car in Chrysler's lineup.
  13. Seriously. I don't understand the logic behind posts like this. Why anyone would want less competition between automakers, less choice, less variety in the marketplace...is beyond me.
  14. This time, in the form of a 50 year old woman driving a Volvo. Luckily, it wasn't too serious. I was making a right turn out of a Rite Aid parking lot onto a main road. The Volvo was in front of me attempting to do the same. She pulled out and saw a car coming, changed her mind, and shifted into reverse. She had no idea I was behind her, and slammed into me. The damage isn't too bad. The driver's side of my front bumper took the hit. The lower lip is disconnected from the bumper, there are a few long horizontal cracks in the bumper itself, and it'll all need to be repainted. If she were driving an SUV it would have been much worse, as my hood likely would've taken the hit as well. She was extremely apologetic and admitted fault, so off to the body shop I go. #2 for me. Thankfully my car wasn't totalled this time around.
  15. Camino, I know you had the GTO, but what was the second?
  16. Wow, this came out of left field. I love everything about it. In terms of styling, I hope this is a sign of things to come for GMC, which has never really had a clear design language in my opinion. This thing has hit written all over it.
  17. The new minivans were the most popular rental I saw while in Vegas this past weekend. They were all over, all rentals. That, and the Sebring.
  18. I feel for you K.C. I'm sure you know how lucky you are to be alive. Get well soon man.
  19. Mitsubishi makes some great cars.
  20. I seriously hope the production Lacrosse looks like that. As crude as it is, this is a great chop. It proves that the ubiquitous midsection we've seen in spy shots can still look great if designers got the front and rear right like this.
  21. The Initial Quality Study is a measure of problems owners experienced during the first 90 days with their vehicle. Don't confuse the award with praise for the Grand Prix's bargain-basement interior. It clogs rental dumps across the country for a reason.
  22. ...I live thousands of miles away from Las Vegas. I've been here since yesterday morning, and since then I've: 1. developed a serious gambling addiction. 2. been awake. 3. seen a dangerous amount of Chrysler Sebrings. 4. learned that Nevada never got the memo that mullets haven't been cool since 1984. Talk about unhealthy. I'm jetlagged, hungover, down a ridiculous amount of money, and loving every second of it.
  23. Hard to believe. The interior quality of every Grand Prix rental I've had has been borderline embarrasing.
  24. Aside from the brown paint, I don't see many similarities.
