  1. I actually don't know the HP increase of the exhaust system, if it does anything at all. It's mainly there to look cool and provide a deeper exhaust note. The Night Panel button is cool: at night you press it and all the dash lights turn off or dim except for the speedo. It's designed to be used if you're just cruising on the highway.
  2. Well I finally got a chance to take some pictures of my new 9-5. It's a 2001 Aero model with accessory wheels and performance exhaust. It took me about 15 minutes in a big parking lot to get the hang of the standard shift, but after that it clicked and I no longer fear rolling backwards 200ft into a ditch on every hill. I think the Blue Aero paint and tan leather interior go together very nicely, and the wheels are much better than the hideous 3-spoke triangular things that come standard. Here are pics fresh off the memory card:
  3. These are awful images; I'll hold judgement. The interior looks like it's going to be good though. Looks like the Titan contributed something to pickup design though.
  4. Lutz already said that's gone. It's too expensive and makes getting to the back seats very difficult.
  5. Thanks for the compliments, guys. There was a delay so I can't bring it home until tomorrow morning, so no pics until then I'm afraid.
  6. Well.. the G6 concept was RWD too (based on Sigma and the Corvette). Doesn't mean Epsilon was ever meant to be RWD.
  7. ... a 2001 Saab 9-5 Aero. Blue with tan leather, 5speed, great condition with some cool accessories (better wheels and performance exhaust). It should be sitting pretty in my driveway tomorrow! Expect pics in the Reader's Ride section, and a lot of stalling from me. Here are some pics from the cars.com listing:
  8. I think with the VUE coming out next Spring along with the 3.6L in the Equinox and Torrent GM will be OK in the midsize segment for a little bit. Too bad the next Equinox is 3 years away yet.
  9. Where's the aluminum below the wood strip on the dash?
  10. Hopefully this stuff makes its way to GMNA very soon.
  11. Who wants to bet Buick will be made fun of:
  12. Replace Viper with the 300/Charger/Magnum.
  13. No, this awful thing is:
  14. Anyone who plays San Andreas should know that song too. "it was good to get out of the rain..."
  15. I've never been to a Walmart; I don't even know where one is around here...
  16. This is the first time I've actually watched it, and I found it surprisingly gripping and exciting. (The fact that everyone else in the office would suddenly migrate to a bar to watch made it more interesting )
  17. I think this car looks great, but I doubt it will stand much of a chance against th S-class.

My office has rediculously expensive printers, but jams still happen pretty frequently....arg....

Why does Edmunds post such low-res images?
  20. It would look better if the headlights didn't have that weird kink in them, the back window didn't kick up, and the taillights weren't so odd. Also, it looks too narrow for its height.
  21. Statue of Liberty, people....
  22. Totally agree. I hate how Chrysler can get away with such awful interiors (Caliber, LX cars, etc).
  23. Hmm, this report is confusing. It says it has only had one owner, but that was for 8 months and then it was sold on 12/31/01 and moved to MA from NH. Why does Carfax think it only has one owner when it clearly has had more than that? And what does it mean "loan or lien reported"? And when the registration was reissued/renewed it says "color noted as blue"; does that mean it was repainted? It's also been "offered for sale" since January, so is there something seriously wrong with this?
