  1. Bring back the GTO Judge.............good name..........good history. Get rid of the Kia Sportage. Sounds like a flu symptom. Example: "Oh.......I have got some bad Sportage."
  2. I am VERY anti union...................but I have to agree. It has been fun grilling union members but lets move on! This board has a broader purpose :CG_all:
  3. "Ironicaly" today my local radio station had an entire segment on their morning show about how great the Prius was. Interesting...........................
  4. It would be great marketing if GM did a contest (In conjunction with Disney), with the winner getting a real solstice with this color scheme (with a small one for the kids of coarse).
  5. Is this mike on?
  6. The C6 is screwing up the XLR-V because of it's great price point.
  7. Their not a real country anyway........
  8. I only speak the truth..............GM America will soon be GM America (built in China)
  9. "Delphi China.............Selling quality parts since 2006"
  10. interesting...................................
  11. You are EXACTLY right! The UAW does not understand that this is a world economy, and the rules are the rules of the world, not the USA alone. The world rules state "If you can't survive in the world with Japan, China, Germany, etc. making things better and/or cheaper, you die! Like stated before in this thread, there are too many people in this country that are not loyal to their contries' industry. I buy American wherever I can, but I beleive that I'm in the minority. A patriotic duty to buy American is what can save GM in the current state they are in, since that won't happen, the UAW needs its benefits and wages cut drasticaly, or we will need to see "Made in Bejeing" on the GM vehicles we buy. It's the UAW's choice to work with GM, or DIE!!!!
  12. They need to have a souped up version........................then they need to have an ultra souped up version, with VERY limited production (maybe 500 per year), but crazy specs. Make them beg for the product! Of coarse, I would also like to see the GTO Judge come back.
  13. In all seriousness, quality is most important. A 10 or 7 year warranty would be great but very costly, on the other hand, it would get MANY import buyers into the showrooms and the finance offices.
  14. Tacoma for under $14,000! I know it's stripped but....WOW!
  15. Welcome to world-wide competition. Live by the rules, or die by the rules! Your choice! I feel sorry for NO union worker.
  16. Although GM has made some design flaws, many of those have to do with their cost structure. I'm sure GM doesn't want an Equinox & a Torrent, they want an Equinox & a high proformance Pontiac SUV (like a low cost Porsche Cheyane). They have to rebadge because of a high cost structure. Where does that high cost structure come from. Hmm.......................... the answer starts with the letter U.
  17. No, I think incentives are better.
  18. It all boils down to that one sentence "If I had the money, I would buy it". The people who buy this car do it for status, not price (for the most part).
  19. I think Dodge made what I was talking about. Anyway, a miniature version of the classic Chevy pickup would be great. I would like to see Scion or Honda come up with something that cool!
  20. Actually, that's a great idea. I always though it would be nead to bring back those old pickup trucks with the bench seat cabin and the low pickup bed. They were VERY simple but at the same time looked pretty neat. Who made those? They are pretty old, don't see many more of those around. I think GM should bring that style back! Photoshop one of those!
  21. A SAAB 92x mini wagon. I like the idea!
  22. Good question. The Escalade must be somthing very eye popping exciting
  23. There are MANY non-union, hard working people that buy vehicles. Right now, the questions is not "How many union vehicle sells are we going to lose if union members lose their jobs" but "How many non-union sells are we losing to Japan, Korea, Germany, etc NOW.. I think the latter is more important. When (not if, but when) GM, Ford, and DCX leaves the USA to build vehicles in other countries, union workers will have to go to other lines of work to survive. Face it, the USA is going to become a service, inovation, and information economy. We will have to leave factory work to other countries (somthing Japan and Korea will have to face eventually too). Union factory workers will have to adjust, and find non-factory jobs. Many of us love the USA, but we realize if we want to keep our NON FACTORY jobs, we can't let the "fat cat" factory union members dictate our fate. Many non-union members have adjusted, now it's the unions turn.
  24. Great Idea! This will send the message to American auto industry related business to get out of the USA even faster! So what will be owed to the union will be nothing, because they will have nobody to work for. Ah......this is just getting into a faster and faster spiral.
  25. I've said it once and I will say it again.......................... A Non-USA GM made vehicle is looking better day after day. This is looking closer to a necissary (but heart breaking) measure.
