  1. I don't know what the exchange rate is, but $10k US for a turbo kit seems way overpriced.
  2. good post
  3. Top Gear had an episode with one of those last year. They drove it across Africa and even into a river, they dried it out and it still finished the race. Great episode.
  4. 1) 2006 Pontiac GTO 2) '09 G8 GXP
  5. 1) '98 Camaro Z-28, '99 Camaro SS, '99 Corvette 2) '10 Camaro (with LSA engine) or '08 Corvette / and a '09 HHR SS Turbo
  6. Who did McHale play for? Boston Celtics Who did he give Garnett to? Boston Celtics sounds a little suspicious to me
  7. I will be buying one, so there's one sale.
  8. 04-06 GTO's have pretty good drivetrains. The transmission is a T56 so that's good and the differential is a Dana unit so it's pretty stout. You're biggest issue to overcome is that the widest rear tires you can fit are 275 series without some customization. Recommend you pick up an 05 or 06, cars that came with the LS2.
  9. Definitely
  10. The Volt is the most important product in the pipeline for GM, they haven't screwed that one yet.
  11. I don't know if there is any iron in these pics, maybe we can call it detroit aluminum & chicks:
  12. I really enjoyed living in the Baltimore area for 6 months while working at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The city itself kind of gets a bad rap, there are plentiful drag strips and some of the best speed shops in the country in Glenn Burnie. I hope to return someday.
  13. with a couple of random ones thrown in:
  14. I disagree on this. I'm basing this on the look of the car; the C5 corvette is like a beautiful, voluptuous woman with soft curves in all the right places. The C6 has a much more athletic look with sharper curves for a more masculine appearance.
  15. the 3rd movie was actually the best of the series, I have a small glimmer of hope for #4.
  16. I think it just depends on what you period of time you would consider a lifetime. If you were born in 1880-1890, you were probably a little skeptical of the 'horseless carriage' in your youth, but ended your life being totally dependent on the automobile.
  17. check out http://www.motorists.org/fightticket/ to fight for your rights. Make 'em work for your money.
  18. I don't think some of you gentlemen understand the engine hp rating issues. In the past, Corvette and Camaro had the same ls1 engine. Corvette was rated at 350 hp, Camaro was rated 325. When they were both put on the same dyno, guess what? the made the exact same power. The GXP will probably get the exact same LS3 engine as the vette, it's just that GM is only claiming 402 hp. It's marketing bull$h!.
  19. Their greed shall be their demise. Can't wait for the Volt.
  20. I wonder how it responds to more boost?
