  1. I really like it.......The tail lights on the Denali look like they are in a clear housing, and the normal Yukon ones are in a red housing. I like this much more than the Tahoe. Like someone said the front end almost looks concept like. Wait till you guys see the Escalade. It is stunning.
  2. I was on GMInfonet today looking at some vehicle specs when I noticed that they finally added XM Radio to the option list. We were also told that if you have a 2006 vehicle with a new style OnStar antenna, a chip just needs to be added to allow your vehicle to recieve the XM signal. XM Radio Canada service begins December 1st. As of today GM Canada vehicles can be ordered with XM Radio.
  3. A friend of mine owns a Pontiac Buick GMC dealership and he usually just drives a Sierra. Last week though he baught a Cadillac SRX. I dont have a problem with that because he is still supporting the company he works under. He has been trying to get the Cadillac line for years too. I think you should support the car company you work for, even if its not direct (ie. working for Dodge and driving a Mercedes).
  4. Abercrombie Fierce for me too.
  5. I just got a new computer last week.....Sony Vaio RA-840G. - Pentium D Processor 820, 2.8GHZ - Windows Media Center Edition 2005 - 1GB 533MHz Ram - 250Gb Hard Drive - ATI Radeon X300 128 DDR SDRAM - DVD +- R/RW drive - DVD-Rom Drive - Sony's Liquid Cooling System - 17 inch Sony Flat Panel LCD w/ XBrite. - Logitech 5.1 Surround Speakers At Work: IBM ThinkCenter - Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ - 512 Ram - Windows XP Pro - 100Gb Hard Drive - DVD Rom - CD/RW Drive - 17 inch IBM ThinkVision Flat Panel LCD
  6. Every year GM Canada has dealer meetings in Toronto around this time. They are meetings for GM dealers from all over Canada. Being a GM Canada dealer I try to go every year. We always get to preview new product. This year they had the 2007 Tahoe, Yukon, Avalanche and Escalade there for us to see. They also showed us a bunch of future product on screens, but would not tell us what they were called or what brand they belonged too.
  7. We didnt get to see any GMT-900 interiors, including the Tahoe. The back end of the Escalade is different than the Tahoe. The shape is slightly different with different tail lights and chrome accents.
  8. Along with showing us the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevrolet Avalanche, they also had the 2007 Cadillac Escalade and 2007 GMC Yukon Denali there for us to see. The Yukon has a unique front end with a small Envoy resemblance. The back end is much nicer than the Tahoes and the honeycomb grill looked amazing. The Yukon had 20 inch chrome wheels. The Escalade was literally jaw dropping. The whole vehicle is stunning. The front is a large Cadillac type grill with (I dont know how to explain this in words) Buick-like port holes on the fenders along the front doors. It has a large Cadillac symbol on the grill and huge chrome wheels. It was a very deep red colour. We were very impressed with the GMT-900 SUVs. We didnt get to see the GMT-900 trucks because they said they didnt want to take all the hype away from new vehicles like the Solstice and the Lucerne.
  9. The Epica is sold in Canada. It is a rebadged Daewoo.
  10. Im really liking that back end and the headlights look pretty nice too !
  11. I really liked the front end of the Avalanche it was much more truck like than the Tahoes front end. GM Canada told us that the front end of the Avalanche has some resemblance to the Silverado front end. They said the Silverado front end would be different yet from the Tahoe and Avalanche!
  12. Yes, the front end is more truck like, more bold and has an aggressive look to it.
  13. To be honest I forgot to ask about that.
  14. During our GM Canada dealer meetings tonight in Ontario we were introduced to the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe and the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. Although we were unable to sit in them, we were given an upclose look at the exterior of the models and let me tell you, they are even more amazing in real life. The Avalanche still has its unmistakable styling but has been softened on the sides and made more agressive on the front end. Some of the features we are too expect is a power operated hard cover and rolling cargo area, like that introduced this year on the 2006 Cadillac EXT. Dare I say that the side view of the Avalanche reminded me of the Ridgeline but much more Avalanche like. However the new Avalanche is an obvious improvement over the previous version, I can't wait to drive it! I was very impressed with the bold new look of the Tahoe, but we have already covered that on this site. Along with the the Tahoe and Avalanche we were given the oppourtunity to get upclose with the Solstice, Lucerne and G6's. All I can say is that the Lucerne literally stole the show. Everyone couldnt believe how nice it actually is. Pictures do not do it justice.
  15. Were not even allowed to bring cell phones in! I think its because of the Tahoe thing.
  16. Ya for sure ! I am expecting to see them tonight.
  17. I should have a chance to see the 2007 Escalade and other models tommorow as I am currently in Ontario for GM Canada dealer meetings and a dealer exclusive autoshow. We were told we would be seeing the new trucks too.
  18. I am very impressed with the new Tahoe. The interior is stunning and the exterior is the perfect blend of evolution and innovation. I am really liking the rear camera and the park assist sensors. I think GM may have finally proved themselves as the worlds #1 automaker!
  19. I really like that two-tone leather. The "GTP" badges on the seats are a nice touch too.
  20. To be honest I dont own 2 out of the 3. I own the GM dealership where I live so I really only own the H3, the Cobalt and the Sierra are just on demo plates. I drive demo cars for about 6 months but my son is going to be driving the Cobalt for a year. My dealership is full line, Chevrolet-Pontiac-Buick-GMC and Cadillac.
  21. I started with the Luxury package and then I added the off-road package, a sunroof, chrome appearance and head curtain airbags. I havent driven the 5-spd yet. I can't believe how many people look at this vehicle and how many times people see the GM badge and say "I didn't know that GM made Hummer!" Everyone that has seen it can't believe how nice the interior is.
  22. I was just looking around some GM sites today and I noticed that the 2006 GMC site is finally up and running.
  23. That steering wheel would have been much better. Another thing I think the H3 is missing is steering wheel controls.
  24. First of all, you can't get a navigation system on the H3. The vehicle has every option you can get from factory.
  25. I think the power in the vehicle is just right. I mean lets face it, this thing is not a sports car. The engine is perfectly powered to handle what the vehicle is designed to do.
