  1. This CAMARO comeing is GREAT NEWS!! I dont see why a future GTO couldent be done on a streached weelbase/rear overhang and restyled version of the Camaro platform takeing it up ABOVE the PUNYCAR class and into the MUSCLECAR one. Do it as a TRUE HARDTOP COUPE with the top engine from the CAMARO SS as a base engine in the GTO. They could be VERY DIFFERENT CARS Cami-pony/GTO-Muscle for VERY DIFFERENT MARKETS! Pontiac NEEDS THE LUXURIUS MUSCLECAR GTO!! And CHEVY NEEDS the AFFORDABLE PONYCAR CAMARO!!
  2. I agree with the cost issue brought up by 91z4me and I do hope this new Ultra Engine line is not dead. And it would be good if they did different sizes for different brands. And the Caddies should deliver NO KESS THEN 400HP with direct injection/VVT/DOD and use 5.0L of displacement being thats were the competitors are heading in both power and size.
  3. Last I remember the Ultra V8 was canceled. But if I remember correctly it was going to be 4.7L's and it was going to replace the Northstar. It was going to be DOHC/4VPC and basicly be a 90 degree V8 version of the 60 degree HFV6 family and use the latest TECH in Valve Actuation/Direct Injection ect. It was going to put out approx 380HP and be used by Caddy at first--LIKE NS--then some others later. Personally I dont see why they couldent use an upgraded version of the most resent DEBORED/NEW BLOCKED 4.4L NS without Supercharging as a bases for a Northstar II line useing the latest TECH innovations. That would be my guess for the future because of their latest $$$$ trubles.
  4. The 4.8L is NO DOG like the old 305 was. And yes the 4.8L/5.3L and the 6.0L are all related yet there are differences between them. The 6.0L can take a 4.00 in bore while the 4.8/5.3 can not due to a different casting. All of these NEW GEN small blocks use a mutch STRONGER BLOCK DESIGN with 6 bolt mains that replaced mear 2 bolt ones in the old 305's and some 350's. Other 350's in HD form used 4 bolt mains but NOW even the base 4.8L is STRONGER AND SUPERIOR then the old HD 4 bolt main 350's. These new ones are FAR SUPERIOR to the old ones in EVERY WAY!
  5. Thats odd becouse the HVV6 3.9L is the same exterior size as the HVV6 3.5L version. Its the 2.8/3.6L HFV6 that takes up more room due to its DOHC layout. The HFV6 3.9L works GREATLY in the W based IMPALA.
  6. I wish HUMMER would quit useing this silly H to discribe their models. The HUMMER H1 is the HUMMER HUMMER #1. They should use something like TYPE 1 or SERIES 1 or even name them after MOUNTAIN RANGES. The H1 could be the HIMALAYA. The H2 could be the CASCADE. Anything would be better then HUMMER HUMMER 1/HUMMER HUNNER 2/HUMMER HUNNER 3 ECT!
  7. The more LITHE-LUSTY-LIGHT-LUCIOUS-LOTI the BETTER!
  8. I think the RETRO CRAZE so far has been good being that MENY of the cars have been INSPIRED by the 1960's! To me the BEST time for DOMESTIC AUTO STYLEING both in DETAIL and OVER ALL LOOK. The CAMARO consept is MORE PROOF of this in its CREASED FINDERS and LONG NOSE/SHORT DECK HARDTOP 67/68/69 STYLING!
  9. Could it be that there is an AGENDA HERE? First they form UNIONS that drive the $COST$ to build a car in AMERICA HIGHER! Then later they REGULATE the cars for fuel economy/safty that DRIVES THE PRICE UP AGAIN? Then they let Asia in to STEAL MARKET SHAIR during a FAKE FUEL SHORTAGE! All the while BASHING the CHOKED/REGULATED/ANGRY UNION MEMBER BUILT AMERICAN CARS whose quality "SOMEHOW" ((DROPS!!)) <_<Then when AMERICAN cars get better they CONTINUE to NIT-PICK AGAIN driveing DOWN MARKET SHAIR!! Japan OWNED CONSUMER REPORTS continues to FOOL MILLIONS along with most other automotive publications!----------Is it ALL TO OBVEIOUS to BE TRUE?-------That there is an AGENDA?------One so VILE and INSIDIOUS that its to MUTCH for most SOFT WHIPPED AMERICANS to EVER ACCEPT?----------I WONDER!
  10. Dont forget BLT,PB&J and STD.

  13. KAPPA/SOLSTICE/SKY ROCKS!!----------ALL HAIL THE ((GREAT)) the ((BRILLIANT)) ((LUTZMYSTER!!))
  14. So the base car uses Z?---MKZ--- ---And the larger middel car in the lineup uses S?---MKS--- ---Does this make ANY SENSE?
  15. The only reason for this is because the GERMAN OVERLORDS under estimated the AMERICAN QUALITY to begin with! MB lost it a little for a while in their quality but their sales did not reflect that due to PERCEPTION and SNOB APPEAL. To bad OUR automakers dont have that ADVANTAGE!--------THANKS ALOT AMERICA BASHERS!!
  16. MUNCHIES!!
  17. The TRUTH is OUT THERE!!------Now its time for the AMERIBASHING public to see THIS!!
  18. So if a SMALL BLOCK is a MOUSE MOTOR and a BIG BLOCK is a RAT MOTOR then what is THIS??----A ((BRONTOSAURUS MOTOR??))
