  1. Buick Riviera maybe?
  2. Jay Leno Camaro Dusk Camaro Chroma Camaro Synergy Silverado ZR2
  3. Ocean temperatures have continued to rise even if surface temperatures have leveled off. The real problem will be the rising ocean levels. Hopefully, this wakes up all those skeptics who think the polar bears arent dying or that catastrophic climate change isnt real.
  4. Steal the interior from the XLR and use it in the Vette. People arent going to accuse the Corvette of being a badge engineered anything. It is the one truly original American car left.
  5. no one calls it "global warming" anymore. Its referred to as "climate change." If the polar ice caps melt (which they are still doing despite an increase in global temperatures) then the ocean currents might change causing a global change in climate. The only people who keep calling it global warming are people who want to debunk the theory by making a semantic argument against it.
  6. Happy Days are here again! Hummer represents all that went wrong at GM. I'm so glad this distraction is gone forever.
  7. I love sushi but after watching Animal Planet's "The Monster Inside Me", I really worry about eating uncooked meat of any kind.
  8. I like Verano. I hope its a convertible!
  9. Wow.. oh white people get blamed for everything. Just watch Fox News and you will see that Mexicans and blacks are blamed for everything. Or is it gays? I mean they even boiled the healthcare debate down to blaming "illegal immigrants". Oh poor poor European males. I cant remember anytime they ever got blamed for anything!!!! And as for the New Haven, CT commentary. The test scores indicate that the test was biased. Think about it. what if a test was written with math questions about football. Such as what if the home team scored 4 touchdowns and 3 field goals how much would that equal? This would be a biased question favoring people that watch football. In the same way would it be fair to you if they asked questions about Hannukah or Soccer on a standardized test that you were taking? The fact that no African Americans passed doesnt mean that the Whites were smarter or better. It does raise questions about the fairness of the test.
  10. I love Laura Scudder's All Natural peanut butter. I love the way the peanut oil separates out and you have to stir it up to make it smooth and creamy. Its great with Knott's Berry Farm Boysenberry seedless jam.
  11. It looks like a hyundai tiburon had sex with an altima. Its ugly - A rare miss for Infiniti.
  12. Money Story NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Honda Motor Co. said Friday it widened a previously announced recall to add 440,000 cars that could have a lethal airbag defect. Affected models include the 2001-2002 Honda Accord, 2001 Civic and 2002-2003 Acura TL. The potential defect has caused 6 known injuries and one known death, according to Honda spokesman Chris Naughton. The recall will require the driver's side steering-wheel-mounted airbag inflator to be replaced. In some cars, the airbag inflators may over-pressurize the inflator mechanism as the airbag is deploying, which could cause the inflator casing to rupture, according to Honda. As a result the carmaker said, "Metal fragments could pass through the cloth airbag cushion material, possibly causing an injury or fatality to vehicle occupants." Registered owners of the vehicles in question will receive a recall notice in the mail in the next few months to schedule a repair. Honda said the owners of cars most likely to have a problem will be contacted first. In the meantime, Honda owners can log onto the Web site www.owners.honda.com/recalls and click on the "Owner Link" to get a status of their recall. Acura owners should go to www.owners.honda.com/recalls and click on the "My Acura" link.
  13. Close the dealers down. This bill will never make it past the senate or past a presidential veto. What a waste of time.
  14. We need to tax any import that doesnt conform to US standards. Why should we continue to give foreigners an upperhand in business and then blame the American worker for being greedy? Tax the hell out of the foreigners and the stupid Americans that buy this foreign made junk.
  15. I'm gonna call "bull spit" on this. A lot of the evidence that you post is from people with fewer than 25 posts or its nit-picky stuff that only a gearhead would ever complain about.
  16. I pick the Convair UC-880. The military version of the 880 airliner built in my hometown, San Diego. Its still the fastest subsonic airliner ever built.
  17. yeah yeah yeah and maybe they'll pelt us with marshmallows too. North Korea is such a joke. I mean really, their bomb would probably malfunction and blow up their own country.
  18. I love this car. If GM still owned Saab I would buy one in a second.
  19. My local Cadillac dealer is dual branded with Buick. Frankly, I don't want to deal with the geriatric Buick customers. I wish they would set up a Cadillac only dealership. Our local Mercedes dealer is in beautiful new facility that is completely first class and state of the art. The Caddie dealership might have gotten new furniture around 1988?
  20. I saw a brand new Renault Megane that someone had driven up from Michoacan.
  21. GM needs a refresh of its small pickups. They need a GMC Sierra replacement and a GMC Canyon refresh. The era of the giant SUV is over just like the giant Cadillac is gone. Lutz needs to stop living in the past, embrace the present and maybe he can help GM survive into the future. If he can't do this. He should step down and accept that he IS the problem at GM.
  22. I vote for LA. The Japanese are already doing their premiers in LA and not Detroit. It makes more sense.
  23. We all hate what is happening but if we could survive the plastic cladding era, the bloated SUV decade and Hummer... we can definitely survive this. I'm not about to give up on American industry or America for that matter. You shouldn't either.
  24. Obama has been in office like 100 days. I blame the lame cars GM built for the last 20 years, the lack of government protection of our vital national industries, the lack of a national healthcare system that has bankrupted American corporations and saddled them with huge healthcare costs but mostly I blame all the people who urged GM to stay true to some stupid 60's big muscle car past that was more fantasy than reality.
