  1. Linkypoo I kinda want this thing, its like a dungeon on wheels.
  2. Until GM says they're going to use Oshawa, this is a lot of dreaming and speculation and people getting their hopes up for something that, as it is now, probably has no better than a 50% chance of happening.
  3. Didn't the G8 come over as a Pontifail because Holden didn't have the capacity to build Chevy-sized numbers. I recall that being the lame-assed excuse a bunch of you used. And now you're thinking Holden magically has enough capacity to build them to meet fleet demands and civilian demand here?
  4. You're not familiar with right-of-way laws, are you? Or with certain municipalities that require bicyclists to have a bicycle license, are you? Moron

Alaska is. And as a bonus, you can see Russia from it.

An economic summit in Pittsburgh? Was Detroit not available? Was Cleveland completely booked?
  7. Biking. I blame the wife for goading my competitive nature. And gravity. f@#k gravity. And thanks.
  8. The lameness of C&G has grown exponentially over the last year or so. As for me, I'm hanging out with a broken arm, wrist and 2 ribs. Fun stuff. Great drugs.
  9. The Buick has been clunked, the Jetta should have been in town yesterday, but it'll apparently be tomorrow. I swung by the dealership today and it was nowhere to be found. In fact, the VW/Mitsubishi/Porsche lot was damn near empty. The "Sold Vehicle" row was full (it only holds 6 cars) and there were a couple of non-TDI Sportwagens along with a CC and a couple of New Beetle convertibles, but not much else. Their "clunker" row was pretty full too, the usual beat up pickups, vans and SUVs were joined by a rather tired looking 80's Mercedes-Benz convertible, I want to say it was a 380 SL, but whatever it was, it had seen better days.
  10. Thanks, we're supposed to go clubbin' and I cant dance, so I've got a few moves I can bust out.
  11. Too bad you didn't bring this to the U.S.'s attention a year or two ago, we could have invaded and hung a "Mission Accomplished" banner from the CN Tower.
  12. ONLINE PETITIONS SOLVE EVERYTHING DAMMIT!
  13. Psssshhhhht, whatever. We all know that stereotypes are the only way to go, its so much easier to just lump a large number of people into a group.
  14. Anyone who has changed a diaper in the last 50 years will attest to that.
  15. The guest bathroom usually has a roll on the back of the tank because nobody bothers putting it on the holder.
  16. w00t! I assume you'll be doing mostly fetish porn?
  17. Hasn't Ford said they plan to make 50,000 or so? If thats the case I think they'll be fine without a ton of incentives, it does start at $26k after all and thats still the heart of the market, price-wise.
  18. Yeah, I wish the Golf TDI were here right now, I'd love to have one. I wonder if Ford is considering a Fiesta diesel.
  19. Now that I put more thought into it, I guess the people who bought the '86-'95 models are probably at a point in their lives where they dont want "just" a run-of-the-mill midsizer so the new Taurus, with its larger size and higher price point and premium options will probably appeal to them. I still haven't seen one in person, which is odd since it seemed the Fusion and Mustang were on lots pretty quickly, but I imagine I'll be as impressed in person as I have been with the pics. And their advertising has been pretty good so far too, they're mentioning the car, what it has and what it can do and not BUY NOW $5000 OFF!!!!!!
  20. Quoting myself, what a douche. Anyways, Jetta Sportwagen TDI, the deal deal was, by far, the most complicated thing I have ever been a part of. It was supposed to be here today, but it'll be Monday.
  21. To quote Camino, Damn, damn, damn!
  22. first one, then the other.
  23. Ford is doing s decent job of advertising the Taurus so far, something GM hasn't done for any car pretty much ever. The problem is that people are either going to remember the '86-'96 midsizers or the '96-'07 fleet queens and not associate "Taurus" with "quality large sedan" which is what it is now.
  24. I love standing in line for 45 minutes to spend 60 seconds on a ride.
