  1. Thats cool that they are taking care of you like that. I'm pretty sure that MO dropped the permit requirement for window tinting a couple of years ago. I remember you used to have to take a note or something to the license bureau and get a permit, which I think was a sticker you had to put on the back window. My bro-in-law had one on his old Ranger. Now you dont need a permit. Edit: Link to MO tint law Edited edit: The link says you can have up to 35% on the front windows.

    SMART

So everyone should go buy a Park Avenue or DTS?
  3. Thats what that is. I wondered.
  4. I wont fit in it comfortably, so I dont care. That is, unless they allow the front seat to travel back further than it does in the current one. I'm pretty sure that car wasn't designed to be driven by anyone over 5'9.

    SMART

You know that accidents are the exception rather than the rule right? Besides, at 40 a Suburban would rip through many cars, including anything in your beloved Mitsubishi line. The SMART makes sense in crowded cities, offer them out here in the middle of nowhere, I dont think sales will rise. How much money do people in NY/Chicago/LA pay for cabs/buses/trains? I'm sure that the SMART would, in the long run, save them some money. I'd pick one up to deliver in because they're small, economical, and seriously, is there a bigger chick magnet? Well, there probably is, but a woman who likes a man who is into space and fuel efficiency wouldn't be a bad thing. And if she like 'em small, I've definately got it there. :( :P
  6. Ok, if you were to post something like "Next gen Malibu to be built alongside Camry" or "GMC to get rebadged Ridgeline" or "Camaro to return for 2008" then I'd raise an eyebrow.
  7. I really liked how the C-pillar on the S-series wagons mimicked the sedan roofline. The S-series wagons were pretty stylish, I would have liked to see an ION wagon (ok, maybe not) and hope we'll get a hatch version of the next gen. The L-series wagons were nothing too special, although I did see an L200 wagon, same year as my sedan, that I considered trading into. But its an auto. :puke:
  8. The one posted is on Ebay currently it is at $8201, reserve is set at $10750. Wow. How great would one of those be as a summer cruiser?
  9. The horizontal slabs are an illusion created by the light. The same pic is in the Lacrosse photo gallery.
  10. I'd hope that if you're insistant, the dealership will foot the bill to get your windows re-tinted. I doubt it, you bought the car and had to have it inspected to get plates and a car is supposed to fail the inspection if it has "vision reducing material."
  11. They can do it pretty anonymously on here. Evok and AH-HA are very valuable insiders, I'd certainly never question a thing either one posts. They have posted things that didn't come to be, but they posted when they discovered wouldn't happen, they're just good like that. AH-HA brings one more thing to the forums, anytime I see his posts I get the song "Take On Me" playing in my head.
  12. I cant believe you got pulled over because of the tint. I'd think you could go raise a fir at the dealership, dont know how much good it would do. Contacting a lawyer probably wouldn't be worth it, since the ticket cant be that much and it shouldn't effect your insurance. And chances are you wont get pulled over for this again, unless your local cops are bored.
  13. From now on, anytime I see someone beat up a car, I will refer to be it as being roached.
  14. I want one, I've wanted one since I saw a white one driving through town a few months ago. I will have one some day. Me gusta. Edit: Not that color.
  15. Prelude to a 2008 VW Thing?
  16. I once saw a Lancer wagon.
  17. But the design is all wrong.
  18. Sorry, I just had to.
  19. I forgot to post this yesterday, but there was an absolutely perfect '56 Chevy while walking from my car to class. Absolutely perfect exterior, I'd have my doubts about the interior, since there was what appered to be a Pep Boys ricer style gauge pod in it.
  20. 5 7 Northie asked me and I said not to include mine, I dont want to take any votes away from the real choppers.
  21. What he said. I started taking Strattera in February, the only changes I saw were changes I made involving study habits. I quit taking it last month and, so far, this semester is going smoothly.
  22. So we're going to have an ugly, yuppie oriented(BMW), unreliable(Anything from DCX), overpriced(Anything GM) hybrid?
  23. I dont put winter tires on my car. Didn't do it back when I had a RWD pickup with almost no weight in the bed either. Its a matter of knowing how to drive, some people are just worthless lemmings who believe that RWD+winter=sitting at red lights spinning tires because they did it once in their dad's 76 Caprice because they weren't paying attention during driver's ed.
  24. I bet it vibrates at highway speeds.
  25. You know whats really strange about this is that you're right about the Mustang, chicks dig the V6 models. But the only Camaro I can call a chick car (from what I see regularly) is any purple Z28, all other Camaros are driven by guys. That really doesn't make sense to me, but there are like 4 purple Z28s around town, all driven by women of varying degrees of attractiveness.
