  1. Long story short, I cant get rid of it, the avatar, that is.
  2. Anonymous? Drunken? Michael Jackson style? NOS style? (Where is that sheep pic?) I'll take a woman, to be honest, penises creep me out, even my own.

  4. Post cunters in the Lounge are apparently turned off. Maybe they did the same with the rest of the forums?
  5. According to Car and Driver a while back, the US is supposed to get an SUV version of the current Smart ForFour called the ForMore.
  6. It is kind of ugly, but I want one.
  7. The problem with FWD is the whole put the weight over the drive wheels thing, if you hook a trailer up to an HHR based FWD pickup, bad things will probably happen. They would be best off making AWD standard. That with the 2.4L EcoTec would be more than capable of making Home Depot run and pulling a jet ski to the lake.
  8. I saw one yesterday, it was kind of goldish, it was very ugly.

    VICTORY!

A few years ago, a friend of mine went to Iowa to see Mizzou play one of the teams, I dont remember which. All he remembers about the trip is that Iowa smells funny and that his father gave him some really good advice, "Never have sex with a pig farmers daughter."
  11. I got to see the last 20 seconds. I did watch a lot of the Notre Dame-Michigan game, I was very pleased to see ND win, since a few hours before kickoff I was in my Sports Economics class saying Notre Dame was going to be the national champion.

    VICTORY!

Not that it matters. Notre Dame is going to win the national championship.
  13. Tha packaging advantage allows for more space efficiency which is one aspect that consumers like. That leads to more sales, so while it may or may not be cheaper to engineer or build, it will make them more money because they will sell more.
  14. Wonder if they'll add a Value Package model. When I was thinking of getting one, thats what I was looking at, sure it had only 115 horses, but it was like $13k with AC and a CD player, which is all I really need. I can live with manual windows and door locks, especially in a coupe.

    HHR Commercial....

I saw it last night, it was pretty cool, would have been better if I were high.
  16. Sure you were looking at an '06 Colorado?
  17. Do a big burnout when you pull out of the parallel parking spot, the examiner will be totally impressed.
  18. Whaaaaa????? I posted without know it. Damn, I hate it when that happens. :P Its a brain fart, it happens to everyone, I'd rather a BMW freak be mistaken for me than that Camaro ricer dude. Anyways, it is entirely possible that the cap was loose because the gas in the tank is afraid of the dark, so let the cap off, light a match and drop it in there so the gas feels safer. Thats a horrible idea, by the way, never do that.
  19. A newer Tahoe with a Silverado SS front clip, duct thingys and all. It looked pretty good, this is coming from someone who isn't a big fan of the angry/squinty look.
  20. See, I didn't overlook the details, it has door handles in the right place, all the needed windows, lights, etc and even a logical interior. It just looks like shit. Edit: Crap, no vents for the HVAC. Oh well, I still win because I said so. If we had the sketching (or chopping) Special Olympics, I would be all over that shit.
  21. There are things we all love doing that are car-related. I really enjoy washing my car an, given the time, I like changing my own oil. There are a couple of things I really dont like to do. One is vacuum the interior. I like keeping my car clean but I hate doing this which sucks because I have black everything and any bit of dirt shows. Another interior related thing I dislike is cleaning up from the night before. If the night before was a bad one, chances are there is blood or vomit in the back seat. If the night before was good, possibly some other fluids. Either way there are probably handprints and fingerprints all over the windows. But my absolute least favorite thing is the thing I've had to do most recently: fix a tire. I've plugged three in the last two weeks, two today. There isn't much I can do about nails and such in the road, I know this, but I can still bitch. I think today it was worse because both tires on the passenger side were down to about 14 pounds this morning, I aired them up Tuesday night. After getting back from class, I spent half an hour in the garage trying to find my patch kit, then another twenty minutes trying to find the damned thingy for the air compressor. On the bright side, my car is no longer uneven.
  22. I saw a couple of dream cars (for me at least) and one not-so-dream car. First was a Porsche 911. Not a new one, but one of the old 993 body style ones. It was dark blue. Gorgeous. Next up to bat was an '06 Malibu. It looked like an '06 Malibu. Finally there it was, a Volvo P1800, the wagony one, not the coupy one. I've seen it a couple of times here and there, it is kind of blueish-greenish and I want to gank it. Can you tell which one of those three isn't a dream car?
  23. Toyota rented the park and GM is taking advantage of it. I've only been to Chicago a couple of times the last few years, I haven't made it to see the bean yet. Someday.
  24. No 'Bean' today: Millennium Park closed By Erika Slife Tribune staff reporter Published September 8, 2005, 11:42 AM CDT Sightseers and locals alike heading for one of Chicago's premiere lakefront attractions today may be surprised to find Millennium Park off-limits—reserved for a big private party. Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. paid $800,000 to have the city close the 24.5-acre downtown park so thousands of car dealers and corporate personnel could make it their own. "I was sort of taken aback," said Norman Weingart, 67, a New York resident visiting Chicago this morning. "I can't imagine Central Park being closed for a Toyota convention." Among the attractions off-limits are the Great Lawn, the "Cloud Gate" sculpture popularly known as the "Bean," and the bandstand, a popular lunch spot. Also closed to outsiders are the Pritzker Pavilion, Harris Theater, BP Bridge, McCormick Tribune Plaza and Park Grill. Only the Crown Fountain, Lurie Garden, Wrigley Square and the Millennium Park bicycle station—attractions at the four corners of the park—are open to the public. Representatives of one of Toyota's biggest competitors, General Motors, were taking advantage of any public ire over the park's closing. They stood outside Millennium Park, handing out goodie bags and offering free rides to the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier, Water Tower Place, John Hancock Building and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Though individual park attractions have been rented out before, including the Pritzker Pavilion, Chase Promenade and roof of the Harris Theater, today marks the first time a large portion of the park has been closed for a corporate event. The city plans to use $500,000 of Toyota's fee for free programming, such as concerts at the Pritzker Pavilion, and $300,000 for day-to-day operating expenses.
