  1. Remember the good 'ol days when you could get a fun, reliable, high quality Cavalier with AC/PW/PL/Auto for $9,995?
  2. Aren't you the one who has been saying the Galant is pretty much the greatest car ever built?

    Fond du Lac

I always thought burnouts were to impress 16 year old girls, but this makes sense, assuming people of 68's ilk have the foresight to buy Bridgestone stock.

    No Kid Rock soundtrack?
  5. My condolences.
  6. Yeah, we already reserved our tickets. Flying would have been a little cheaper and faster, but then we would've had to deal with the airport and all the associated headaches. Plus, I really wanted to take the Acela.
  7. Wait, weren't the rest of GM's brands supposed to flounder when Pontiac was discontinued? I could've sworn C&G told me that Buick was going to be dead in no time once Pontiac went away. Up 58% over last year. Fasted growing brand in the U.S. Looks like some people were wrong.
  8. I'm thrilled I finally get to use high speed rail. The wife and I are going to spend a weekend in NYC and since I dont want to fly or drive through New Jersey, Acela it is.
  9. Olds, Hummer, Saturn and Pontiac into "Defunct GM Brands" Combine Holden, Opel and Vauxhall into "GM Worldwide Partners" Maybe create a single forum for "GM Merchandise", "Member Marketplace" and "Auctions and Classifieds" An aside suggestion: Move "C&G Features" up where it would be more prominent instead of buried between "Auto Show coverage" and "Sales Ticker"
  10. I'm using the mobile skin now! I'm on the laptop, but still, its cool
  11. If you put 5 different fonts in front of me, I wouldn't be able to name any of them. I occasionally want to punch font nerds.
  12. So wouldn't it be time to move Saab elsewhere and drop Pontiac down by Saturn, Hummer and Olds?
  13. Luckily, we're nowhere near a point where you'll need a closet full of gold bullion or have to figure out how many chickens equal a roll of toilet paper.
  14. I love the idea of a $100 bill be 100 times the size of a single. That would be roughly two feet wide and five feet long! And if I knew how to put decimals in the right place, I'd know that it would actually be about 21x51 not 2x5.
  15. Patenting that motion would be like patenting breathing.
  16. Even missing two zeros, that wouldn't be a bad buy. '67s aren't as sexy for collectors as '64 1/2s but they still sell at $10k+
  17. Wow....just wow. I'm going to try to use your logic to buy a Jeep. This Jeep, 11,992 dollar bills would obviously not be the same size as the Jeep, so that wouldn't work, so what I'll do is give them this and they will then give me this as change. The mass will equal out, so its a good deal for everyone, right?
  18. Ummmmm...... Paper money has been obsolete for a while, no real point in redesigning it.
  19. And just to f@#k the greenies, it needs polar bear seat covers and the V16 has to run on seal blubber while all the accessories run on coal.
  20. And they have to offer it in 14 different body styles. In addition to the coupe and sedan, we need 3,5 and 7-door hatchbacks, a long wheelbase 6-door wagon, a Wrangler-esque convertible, a regular convertible, a dual-cowl phaeton, a landaulet, regular and crew-cab pickups, a spyder and finally a super long wheelbase 2-door, dual-engined pillarless hardtop.
  21. No, I'm pretty sure it'll have an engine for that price. I didn't see one listed as an option and it isn't like GM to sell just a shell with 4 wheels and Bluetooth that wont move under its own power.
  22. Take a spin in a Cooper S. It wont feel the same as a Mustang GT, but you'll be smiling the whole time.
  23. http://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/1915301881.html Its a sign
  24. Looking at pictures of the house, its surrounded by woods, not in the middle of a densely populated area. Its only exhibitionist if people can actually see you, so WK, you can whack it in every room. As far as lifeless goes, again, surrounded by trees, I dont see how an open view of nature is lifeless.
