  1. Idiots have always posted drivel on here, now the posts just have a red box in the corner. It does seem that a few people get off on -1s, which would explain why certain people make the same post over and over until theory posts ate no longer worth reading because they're always the same
  2. I would say he is mote like the hybrid, but that might cause him to have a stroke
  3. Please, don't you know he has never been wrong about anything and his opinion is always the only acceptable one? He's the Hyundai Sonata personified
  4. Maybe its just the tiny screen on my phone, but that bumper looks like a Torrent leftover.
  5. A happy thanksgiving to all of you.
  6. "I'd rather drive through Ohio twice than deal with airport bull$h!"-my wife, I assume talking about TSA tentacle rape
  7. I don't have an issue with the Volt winning, it just seems inappropriate for a car to be anointed anything when it still isn't "real" yet. I guess my real issue is that they cant get one off the lot therefore it isn't necessarily what a buyer would get.
  8. So its ok for Consumer Reports to declare all new Toyotas to be super-reliable and safe the day they enter production?
  9. Shouldn't the car actually be available before they bestow an award upon it?
  10. Nude model or groping victim? Can't I be both?
  11. The only time I see anything about the Regal is on C&G
  12. Guess I know what I'll get next time I need a rental
  13. People get so caught up in federal stuff that they forget state and local races have a far greater impact on their daily lives. Not voting because of Washington has a large impact on your city, county and state.1 person out of 5 million in a statewide race isn't that big of a deal, buy one person in a town of 500 (or whatever) wields a lot of power. I remember a bond issue in a small town in Missouri passing 22-20. A couple apathetic voters showing up would have changed everything.
  14. Get used to it, most eligible voters don't vote, we're a low turnout democracy. And when you think about it, the non-voters really are mindless sheeple. Instead of taking a little time to look at the issues and vote, they just abstain. They're doing a disservice to their neighbors and the democratic system as a whole.
  15. Felon?
  16. The country would benefit from higher turnout in primary elections. We'd get fewer uncompromising extremists. Nothing is going to happen in the next 2 years, all because there are going to be a few senators and congressmen who are completely unwilling to listen to the other side.
  17. In b4 this thread gets moved/locked. I voted and frankly I have a hard time respecting anyone who doesn't. Especially if they then complain about the way things are/were/will be. Its the one way EVERY American is able to make their voice heard.
  18. Just for the lulz, an XKR is about 20% more than the tC, a Cayman is about 3% more, a 911 about 12% more, and a ZR-1 is (not surprisingly) about 80% more than the tC.
  19. Genesis Coupe > tC Playing with State Farm's website leads me to find the Mustang and Civic EX are within 1% of each other, both about 6% less than the tC. The Genesis Coupe 2.0 is about 20% less than the tC. I didn't check the Mustang Gt, Civic Si or Genesis 3.8 or 2.0 Track models.
  20. The same guy who repeatedly bashes Toyotas for being bland apparently hates one of the few cars that isn't going to be mistaken for anything else on the road. Interesting.
  21. Cobalt drivers, always forgetting there is no shame in having a car that people notice.
  22. Wow, completely different beasts. The Mini is a godsend in in Arlington, things are tight everywhere and that car is tiny. The Evo starts at $33k and even with the inevitable incentives, you'll still spend more on the Mitsu than our Mini cost. Oh, and the Mini will have significantly better resale value.
  23. Yeah the whole "Fast, fun quality care are going extinct" thing is insane, especially when talking about the domestics. Its like saying Bigfoot has gone extinct. Something that never existed cant disappear. The Cruze, for all its faults, is the best compact GM has ever produced relative to the competition and GM can finally price a compact along with the Civic because it can sell on its own merits instead of on "$4,000 Off!". BTW, that was supposed to say "beach volleyball player"
  24. No sarcasm at all, I genuinely believe 1996 was the best year ever for compact cars. Lets start with the fantastic Escort, with its rocking 88 horsepower and 4(!) body styles, each one as beautiful as the last. Then we have the Escort's sexy twin sister, the Mercury Tracer. I sport wood every time I think about this car. The 1996 Mercury Tracer makes life worth living. 1996 was also one of the years the Cavalier was available as a convertible. I dont see why anyone wouldn't want one, I know that if in 1996 I had the cash to drop on something as fine as a Cavalier, I would have needed the convertible because then everyone would be able to see my stylin' in my fly-ass ride. Then, of course, there is the Sunfire, which was the Cavalier's more athletic sibling. It was a muscle car, but with style. I would compare it to the most gorgeous each volleyball player you've ever seen.
  25. Plymouth Prowler, first time in years I've seen one.
