  1. The clutch was more driver error than anything. Woman drivers..... And the VW has been solid after its teething pains. And with diesel here was under $4 last time I filled up.
  2. Because I prefer to buy from a brand that will be around when the warranty ends? Oh, and the Coop is a stick. On its second clutch, but a stick...
  3. Until it breaks down and nobody can fix it or you go to buy a new car and its lost 97% of its value after 3 years.
  4. Never seen a Suzuki I'd spend more than $500 on. Best of luck
  5. Are those unread messages the ones I sent expressing my undying love for sNOSage?
  6. You blame them? Minis and 3ers are much better day to day than high strung Playstations on wheels.
  7. Having owned a Mini for what seems like forever, and having done some time in a Cruze, I can honestly say that for the driving most people do the Cooper is the better choice. The Cruze is smoother and quieter on the highway, but the Mini is far more manageable in tight spaces and can, contrary to your beliefs, haul 4 adults, provided none in back is wearing a short skirt as its impossible to exit gracefully. The Cruze is a good little car, very refined, hopefully it erases memories of the Cavalier and Cavalier II.
  8. All Lamborghinis are red, the rest are mistakes. It is a sexy car.
  9. Cool, hopefully they will get the range to the point it makes sense to produce it. Like a halo car for a halo brand.
  10. Kevlar
  11. The Cruze is out selling the Impala and isn't too far behind the Malibu, not bad considering its a boring, underpowered, overpriced compact. And what ever happened to Buick and GMC failing hard due to the loss of Pontiac?
  12. Except those earning more than $250,000/year
  13. I tend to not be a slave to history. My mom had several Saturns and I bought one, but that had a bit to do with the way the car I bought was equipped. My parents had several Volkswagens back in the day, and my dad is restoring a Beetle now, but that didn't play a role in my buying the Jetta. What can I say, I'm my own person.
  14. Not die
  15. The colors don't match, its a kit car, at best
  16. Only people who can afford the $200,000 price of admission are worthy anyways, right? The markets have deemed them best at acquiring money, therefore they're the best mankind has to offer, therefore they should be the ones to colonize space.

    Let's say

A new car won't come until I "quit being a leech and make some money" so hopefully in a couple years GM has the capacity for more Volts so there isn't a waiting list or some generous soul gives me a large amount of money for a Karma.
  18. Fisker has been around for a while as a coach builder.
  19. From pics it looks Quattroporte sized. I love it and the Tesla sedan. I need a giant pile of cash.
  20. But saying it isn't somehow diminishes the overall product.
  21. Go back to the closeup of the steering wheel, you get a better view, looks like a speaker to me.
  22. Go to post #2 in this very thread. One of the pics is of a black interior, and you can see the A-pillar and it looks more like a tweeter than anything else.
  23. Sadly this is better than door panels and people mistaking tweeters for gigantic retainers.
