  1. Also, 07 Yukons seem to be more popular than 07 Tahoes. I've seen more of them in Lexington, anyway.
  2. I don't see GM regaining marketshare anytime soon. Stopping its loss, yes, but not regaining until its entire lineup matches the GMT900s for sophistication, design, level of detail, and all around appeal.
  3. Creepy hippy hybrid drivers...
  4. Ready for this? Ok... Kid you not, a Toyota Seqouia (or Land Cruiser) limo. I'm totally serious! Don't look at me like that! I am NOT lying!
  5. Yeah, I was considering the no-A/C option. In a ragtop, is there really a need? Unless its raining, if its warm, just drop the top. Saves $1000.
  6. Ah, well then hooray!
  7. When going somewhere in our 06 Escape, me and my wife avoid other SUVs and minivans like the plague when we're parking. She always gets so pissed when we come back out and a van has parked next to it. lol
  8. Indeed, which is very uplifting, for me anyway. BTW, if GM reported a LOSS why did its shares go up?
  9. Woohoo! I'm not on it!
  10. Well I'm neither, I'm just arguing for the sake of it. Gotta do something when I'm not bustin chops up in the news section. And yes, it IS a nice rack. Whoops!
  11. Coming from a girl that has an avatar with a well placed hand shot, and a sig that says "I Take My Top Off" with a picture of someone's rack (a very NICE rack I might add) in a wife beater, "Get a life..." doesn't mean a whole helluva lot.
  12. Yar...considering the current G35 coupe is one of the best looking cars on the road, I'm excited to see the redo.
  13. Wow...THIS thread has blown WAY off course, apparently.
  14. Toyota's stock is worth 5 TIMES as much as GMs? Wow...
  15. Same here. Thank God my drive to work is only about 10 miles.
  16. And even when they get more appealing cars, they still have to task of convincing the coastal citizens that they're not making a mistake buying a GM car.
  17. They are the current standard of the industry and everyone is compared to what they make. So its only natural that when talking of GM's future success, Toyota is brought up because that success depends on besting the Japanese juggernaut.
  18. An interior can be ergonimical AND pleasing to the eye, doesn't have to be one or the other. It doesn't matter to me personally, no. BUT, it matters to the media and, even more importantly, the general public. Its a perception thing. Just because it works, doesn't mean its good or competitive.
  19. I'd just prefer a larger readout. But the overall design and appeal is still great. Toyota knows how to design interiors, I'll give them that. Lexus interiors continue to be my favorite design wise.
  20. You misread what I wrote, I'm the same as you in that every car I've driven has had ABS. I live in Lexington, KY. The winters don't get TOO bad around here, but we do get snow and occasionally ice, we got a real bad ice storm back in Feb 02, shut down the city for a week. Anyway, this is all still hypothetical and months away, I'm just testing the budget water right now to see what I may be able to afford later. Convincing my wife to let me get a 2-seat roadster will be harder than buying it.
  21. The Bonneville was also a culmination of everything wrong with GM in the past 20 years. From its bizarre and horrible interior to its dated and overdone styling to its ancient powertrain (sans the Northstar).
  22. I don't know enough about classic cars to have an opinion.
  23. Indeed. But I still had that lime green surrounding the radio. Looks like it came from a shower radio.
  24. I'd rather have aluminum trim, personally. The sun gets in the right position behind you and a piano black finish could glare it right into your face.
  25. I was on GMBuyPower.com, pricing out a Solstice and was basically trying to figure out ways to get one with payments no higher than $350 a month (we currently pay $406 a month for my wife's 06 Escape, and I'd like to keep the payments on MY vehicle at least $50 less, if not more). I've never driven a car without ABS, so I'm not sure what its like to not have it, and I've also never driven a car WITH LSD, so I have no frame of reference there either. What are the advantages, and conversely, disadvantages to having these two options? Thanks!
