  1. I love evok brain-picking threads.
  2. I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall during GMs future product planning meetings. Because currently, I have no smurfing clue what they're planning for the future of their lineup.
  3. Rental cars HAVE to be bought from someone. GM/Ford just needs to move away from being the majority supplier and let Toyota/Honda pick up the slack.
  4. Fly is 21, according to his profile. I'm 2 months away from 23, and older than all three of you. So there.
  5. Yes, I did. I was totally blown away by what happened. Just...wow...
  6. How do you people find this stuff? And I thought I was good with Google!
  7. Why is it so hard for GM to integrate controls into the center console?
  8. Saw my first G6 GTP sedan, today. It was white with a fairly attractive female behind the wheel. I really like the factory rims on it, tasteful. The car really does need some styling aggressiveness though. Were it not for the GTP badge, you wouldn't know it from any other G6. Still the best-looking mid-size car, IMO, though.
  9. They're not. Illegal immigrants have no rights until they're legal citizens. Millions did it back in the early 20th century, Mexicans can do it now.
  10. Republicans have bad ideas, dems have no ideas. Eh, vote libertarian, I say.
  11. Real subtle, there, evok.
  12. I've said and predicted this for a while. Its easy to build 100 perfect rocking chairs. But then you build 1,000...then 10,000...then 100,000. Its a small, shrunken down version, but its the same principal. Quality is harder to control when you build 10 times the amount. Though the fact that the customer jumped brands to Honda still shows little to no faith in GM products. Friend of mine, after having serious engine problems in this late 90s Honda Passport, jumped ship to a Toyota Highlander, without even considering a GM or Ford product.
  13. Retro is bad, I hope the actual Camaro doesn't follow in the Mustang's footsteps.
  14. I hope the next Camaro is a decent looking, unretro car. The concept looked good, but honestly, I'd much rather have a nice, modern-looking car.
  15. Thing is, people who buy convertibles that aren't single usually have another vehicle that they use for functionality. IE, a wife or husband with an SUV/wagon type vehicle. I can buy a small, unfunctional car because the wife has a Ford Escape.
  16. Yeah, well known fact that Berea College is a haven for the, um, alternative sexualities. Union College in Barbourville, KY has lots of lesbos, too. Though I think Lexington still has one of the largest per capita homosexual populations in the country.
  17. I see one all the time. Not sure if its the same one over and over or if there are lots of geriatric Mary Kay saleswomen in Lexington. At least the pearlescent pink is better than the awful pastel pink they use to be painted. Actually, the first 06 DTS I saw was a Mary Kay.
  18. It does look a lot better in RL than in photos, I must say. Though I happened to peak inside of an XLE, or whatever the base model is, that was parked next to my car the other day. The green in the center stack is still ugly to me.
  19. Me and my wife get 750 shared anytime mins for $69.99 with Cingular. Unl mobile to mobile, nights and weekends, and rollover all included.
  20. Saw that Seqouia limo again yesterday...
  21. It didn't use to matter. But after riding in a 06 Maxima rental, I have to say that I can see how it does to some people. Given the choice, I'm going to buy the vehicle with the nicer interior, which is why I'll probably get a Mazda3 instead of a Cobalt.
  22. The exception being the Outlook, Sky, and GMT900s. The interiors of those, from both reviews and personal experience here at C&G, are class-leading.
  23. No, you see an interior in a prototype vehicle that has loose panels, wires running in and out for diagnostics, and laptops hooked up and hanging from parts of the interior. Seriously, making judgements from official pictures is one thing, but this is a SPY shot of a vehicle during heavy testing. Geeze.
