  1. Why is it so angry? I'm scared...
  2. Heh, hows this? A turbocharged Cobalt with FWD, a 5-spd stick, and manual steering.
  3. A Prius pickup complete with a 5-ft bed and lockable in-bed trunk.

I love it, and I'm most certainly NOT gay.
  5. Suits me. I'd rather have a profitable, smaller GM that will be around in 10, 25, 50, or 100 years than a non-profitable larger GM that will be gone in 25. The media will make a bigger deal out of it than it actually is.
  6. Wow, much improved, IMO. New steering wheel is nice. Piano black surrounding the nav/HVAC?
  7. Mazda or Nissan... If I could afford an Altima V6, I wouldn't think twice about buying one. And since used Altima V6s are hard as hell to find, I'll likely pick up a used Mazda6 V6.
  8. The automotive industry is hurt because its uncompetitive for many reasons, not because of free trade. In fact, the UAW is one cause, among those many, that GM is uncompetitive. As a libertarian, I laugh at Gettelfinger. Protectionism would kill this country quicker than a jihadist invasion. Ok, not really, but it would be close. This country hasn't been able to compete with developing countries when it comes to cheap labor costs for decades. The sooner people realize this country no longer stands on the back of industry, the sooner we'll all be better off. Welcome to the Information Age, people, given birth by Microsoft in 1985.

If you forgot about the past 3 years of ugly Silverado's, this is definitely an evolution of the 99-02 design with its stacked, level headlights.
  10. Not worth being on the front page...
  11. Isn't it, though? Shame GM can't get their interiors looking that good. Nope, every model across every division gets the same damn corporate radio. Woohoo! Good job on mediocrity, GM! Integrated radio and HVAC controls are SO last year!

I still think it looks fantastic. I'm glad its differentiated from the Tahoe.

I do see some Nissan Titan in there, though.

I completely disagree. I LOVE IT!! I wonder if the Z71 Tahoe will receive the same grill treatment...
  15. I actually find that kind of refreshing. Hopefully GM can get some Pontiacs out that don't suffer from the same thing that got the current G6 and upcoming Aura.
  16. Thats a frighteningly slim margin of victory.
  17. Disregarding their current relevance to the industry, this is where I'd LIKE to see GMs brands. Cadillac > High-end sports Luxury, think Benz / BMW Buick > soft, smooshy luxury, think Lexus Pontiac > premium sporty cars, think up-scale Mazdas Saturn > premium family offerings, think upper-trim Jap Big 3 Chevrolet > High-volume family vehicles, think low-mid trim Jap Big 3 GMC > premium SUV/trucks Hummer and Saab are just niche sales at this point, and don't really fit anywhere
  18. The Yukon would have looked SO much better with the Graphyte's front end.
  19. And when is that going to happen? In 2 years when GM is behind Toyota in marketshare?
  20. Whats really scary is that Toyota was within 130,000 sales this month.
  21. I got a text message one day that said "What about the pickles?" From a number I didn't recognize. Called and it was some girl who sent it to the wrong number.
  22. Sure would.
  23. Give'em a few weeks, they'll be fine. If they can't work an assembly line, they need evaluated.
  24. Guy I work with turned a 78 Malibu into a dragster.
  25. Huh. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...?showtopic=8802 Huh.
