  1. I have to say that the Enclave and even Acadia interior make the current MDX interior look like total ass. I didn't really how crappy looking the MDX was on the inside. Though the RX interior still manages to look better than all 3, IMO. Maybe production photos will look better, but right now, that center console floating in the middle of the dash doesn't look too good, IMO.
  2. Why not? The media sure as hell will be, so GM needs to make sure their interiors are up to snuff. The same bland, cheap matte-black radio insert isn't going to cut it, its that simple. No matter what GM does to the rest of the interior, that radio insert always makes it look worse, simply because they do NOTHING to fix it. They could swap out the buttons and face for some faux-aluminum or piano-black, but no, they just pull the same radio the put in the ass-tastic Impala and slap it in the Silverado. I mean, its not like GM isn't CAPABLE of making it piano-black. Same exact radio, only in the Sky they put a piano-black finish on the face. Its amazing to me that out of GMs interior range of vehicles, the Sky is the only vehicle with an interior that totally blows the competition out of the water. Hell, even the radio insert they were putting in the Equinox had an aluminum face on it!!!! I just don't get it.
  3. Look at it this way, have all the awards Hyundai's have received made ANYONE here want to buy one? Yeah me either. So what makes anyone think GM cars/divisions winning some awards would make a Camry/Accord shopper buy a Malibu? Exactly. Chevrolets have been reliable for years, its customer appeal that GM can't seem to get a handle on. And its not like the company isn't capable of building an appealing vehicle. They apparently just have two different design studios, one for trucks/SUVs, another for cars, and only the former seems to know what the hell its doing.
  4. And the same thing is probably going to happen with the trucks that happens with every other GM vehicle. No matter how nice the surrounded trim is, you've still got an ugly ass flat-black stereo insert and HVAC controls that GM has just slid into a square-shaped hole. Is it so f@#king hard to give these bowtie radios friggin piano black faces? GET A CLUE GM! EDIT: Censored myself. GM's cost-cutting just pisses me off to no end. The Enclave interior is going to look like total ass thanks that the same damn flat-black radio/HVAC insert. Meanwhile the Lexus RX has had a better looking dash since its MCE, and its almost due for a new model.
  5. You're probably looking at a $40k Tundra there. Lets see what the Z71/Denali interiors look like before we make comparisons.
  6. As long as they stay in LS/LT bench seat work truck trims, I don't think the 4-spd and 4.3L are a big deal.
  7. I've always thought that spoilers made most cars look better. SOME cars don't NEED them, like the CTS, STS, 3-series, or TL, but there are few cars where a spoiler actually made the car look worse. The Cobalt is certainly a car that NEEDS one. Ever seen a coupe without a spoiler? Looks horrible!
  8. Having been born and raised in Appalachia, I find flat states quite boring and ugly.
  9. No! Front bumper looks great. Everything about that truck is fantastic, IMO. Looks like its going to f@#king eat you and your family, which is the way its suppose to look. I LOVE it!
  10. Check out those fender flares! MAN, that is a BEAUTIFUL SUV!!
  11. My problem with the convert is the same problem I have with the entire line. Outdated powertrain and sub-par interior design.
  12. I see (main light cluser) high beams and low beams. In the fog cluster, fog projector beam and turn signal/DRL.
  13. Comparison Test Review: 2006 BMW 650i vs. 2006 Cadillac XLR-V vs. 2007 Jaguar XK vs. 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL550 vs. 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera Article They placed the XLR-V last, and though at first I said "Figures ," in that group of cars, the XLR-V simply doesn't cut it. The Caddy isn't a bad car, but in a group of those kind of peers the car needs a better interior and better all-around refinement. The only problem I had with the review is C&D's typically snide attitude towards domestics which they can't seem to get rid of, even when the car is outstanding in its own right. Thoughts?
  14. Is that dash material surrounding the radio/HVAC insert? I wish the radio/HVAC area had nicer materials, the whole area looks kinda dull.
  15. ^^^^ Funniest $h! I've read all day. I'm serious Fly, you could be a journalist.
  16. Infinity, obviously. Anything times infinity is infinity, so infinity times infinity is infinity. Got it?
  17. I was referring to the future Zeta-based RWD Impala SS. Not the current W-body.
  18. the 73-87 is probably my favorite. Nothing looks more badass than one of them raised on mud tires. Unless its a Blazer from the same gen.
  19. I can only imagine the reprecussions of you getting paid $16 an hour to server weiners to people.

    HOT!

It was over 100 today and humid as hell in Chicago today. Hopefully the overnight thunderstorms will cool everything down a bit.
  21. Socialist: Someone who believes in socialism. Socialism: Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy. The stage in Marxist-Leninist theory intermediate between capitalism and communism, in which collective ownership of the economy under the dictatorship of the proletariat has not yet been successfully achieved. -------------------- People need to stop mixing political and economical ideals, though.
  22. Yeah. For example, she's 10 times hotter in that photo than she ever is in the movie The Family Stone. Which, I might add is a horrible HORRIBLE movie...
  23. $16 an hour to server hotdogs!?
  24. No Costco's in Kentucky.
