  1. GMC Mastadon and Mastadon Denali. Basically a Yukon Avalanche.
  2. I like how they went so far as to tape a Chevy badge on the GMC. I couldn't figure out what the hell they did to the Tahoe to make it look like that, and then I read the article and was like, "Duh!" I like the grill on the Tahoe, though.
  3. If anyone wants to meet up at the show, shoot me a PM or something, I think it would be fun to meet some of you kooks in person.
  4. Oh yeah, they do.
  5. I'm totally confused.
  6. Its such a shame the center stack is integrated so poorly, it really ruins what is other a GREAT looking interior. The black/tan two-tone with wood is especially nice looking, even if it is the XE model.
  7. This is only the show's 3rd year, so thats probably why. If I hadn't seen the TV commercials I wouldn't have known about it either.
  8. Hey everyone! There's going to be a vintage carshow at Lexington's Keeneland horsetrack this Saturday from 10am-4pm and I was just curious to know if anyone is going to be there? Its only $15 entry so I'll probably go, should be cool. Radio commercial this morning said that they have 5 classic Corvette's on loan from the GM Heritage Museum, including a Mako Shark. From looking at the 2005 show winners on their website: http://www.keenelandconcours.com/ They apparently have EVERYTHING classic, from Porsches to Maseratis to Corvettes to Mustangs. For $15, can't really beat a good show like that. If anyone's going to be there, we can maybe have a meet'n'greet or something, should be cool.
  9. And, mind you, I ask this while meaning NO offense whatsoever to our gay community. Does VW honestly think a car called Rabbit will sell to anyone outside of women and gay men? Its an attractively priced car, and looks good to boot, but...Rabbit?
  10. Word.
  11. Its like GM didn't even TRY to design a nicely integrated center stack. And the exterior doesn't come off as very original either. Good thing this model will only live a couple years...
  12. God, the Colorado interior is abysmal.
  13. And the Tacoma looks like it was designed by Warner Bros, but given the choice, I'd get either over the Colorado.
  14. The wood insert looks dumb in the Nox interior, but the blacked-out altezzas look much better than the chromed ones. Also, do I see the GM corporate radio with a faux alum. face? Yeah, GM needs to do that in more than a couple of models. The Acadia sure could use it.
  15. So the Colorado is meant to be "more rugged" than the competition? Is that why its less capable? Is that why its tow/haul ratings are less than that of the smaller truck it replaced? I don't have Colorado/Canyon sales numbers (GM Media is messed up), but the Tacoma sold over 15k units last months. I don't think the Colorado/Canyon have sold that many since launch.
  16. Word. Though I saw a bright red SL55 AMG yesterday. HAWT!
  17. What changed with the interior? If it still has the same center stack design with the "sunk-in" radio insert, then its still garbage.
  18. Woot! Nevermind then.
  19. Thats exactly what I mean. I'm not a fan of retro designs in the least amount. I'd much prefer an SS-styled Camaro to a retro'd one. But thats just my .02. I don't like the new Mustang either, but its selling at 200k+ a year.
  20. You say that as the Xbox 360 is on the verge of replacing the Playstation as the household name in gaming. As for the first statement, the only company in the gaming industry that has had all but flawless hardware and software has been Nintendo. Both Microsoft and Sony, the current leader, have historically had both hardware and software failures in their consoles. Microsoft is the leader in marketing and product placement. TRUST me when I say that in 2 years, the only two companies in gaming will be Microsoft and Nintendo. At $600, regardless of how "advanced" the hardware is, the PS3 will be a dead console.
  21. I was wondering, after I saw a white 06 Miata with a chocolate top, why the Sky and Solstice only have black cloth tops and no optional colors. Does the Corvette still offer multiple colors for its convertible top? I know you USE to be able to choose from white, brown, or black...not sure if you can anymore. Anyway, guess my point is basically GM should definitely offer more than black for the Kappa top color, because that chocolate on white Miata was a damn good looking car.
  22. An absolutely GORGEOUS brand new black Sky in downtown Lexington yesterday.
  23. Not at all. Don't get me wrong, the Camaro Concept from the NAIAS was awesome looking, but as far as a production car, I'd rather it be more like the SS concept from a few years back instead of like a 67 Camaro.
  24. I just wish it could be original and modern instead of an 05 Mustang ripoff.
