  1. Oh most definitely. Not to mention a MANUAL transmission available with ALL engines.
  2. Did you know you linked a foreign website? Its not in english.
  3. Didn't know if anyone cared, so I hadn't bothered to update. Didn't get any pictures, will try to get some when he comes in next time. While he was up here he got his windows tinted and a Line-X spray-in bedliner. Truck looks more expensive that it really was, I think he only ended up financing around 19k and the truck, other than the grey plastic front end, looks like it costs a lot more with his add-ons. Took a ride in it, rides great. Lots of room in the back seat. Doors opening to nearly 180 degrees makes entry and exit a breeze. The 4.8L sounds great and its 295 horses and 305 lb-ft of torque can really be felt. Nice base engine for the Ext cab. He's going to buy some wheels for it as well. He had found a wheel place where someone had bought some aftermarkets and had left their stock 2007 GMC Sierra SLE wheels and tires there, I guess traded them toward the price of the new wheels and tires. He was considering those heavily, as he could get the entire set of rims AND tires for $600. Truck's fantastic, I'm glad he went with a GM instead of a Ford like my wife wanted him to buy.
  4. So shifting gears in my Crapalier is much like shifting gears in a Porsche?
  5. God, I hope UAW gets taken to the cleaners.
  6. A stick doesn't make my Crapalier any sportier or cooler, just a helluva lot better to drive. Automatics suck. SMGs, despite how advanced and manual-like (like being the operative word here) they may be are still no substitute for a good ol' fashioned gated manual shifter in my book.
  7. My hopes have been renewed.
  8. GM needed to sell cars with more features for the SAME price as competitor's vehicles with less features. Its what Toyota did for years.
  9. Why can't I get a small SUV with a V6 and a manual? Well, that isn't a friggin Santa Fe.
  10. He's signing all the paperwork at the moment. He's going to bring it by when they get done.
  11. I picked up the 2008 Enclave and 2008 Acadia brochures when I was at the GMC/Buick dealer with my father-in-law when he was looking at trucks. The Enclave book is nice as HELL!!
  12. I feel ya, man. Though not the Torrent specifically.
  13. The new Accord interior, design-wise (and really, this is the only thing we can argue as none of us have sat in either a new Malibu or Accord), is derivative and uninteresting. The base level interior we've seen looks especially cheap. I'm sure the material's standard will be there, but arguably the presentation is more important than material. The Malibu, despite the bowtie radio, sells itself well. The Accord, however, does not.
  14. That is high for a lease. Financing I could see, but lease should be under $700.
  15. Ugh, I hate green. Its probably the thing I hate most about Fords.
  16. Pontiac's red, Mazda's red, BMW is red. I like red. I miss it in my Crapalier.
  17. The shifter gate looks like garbage, the stereo display looks like it was pulled from a Casio watch and the fake wood looks REALLY fake. And I'm just looking at the view from the driver's seat. Once you get outside, its a free-for-all with an ugly stick.
  18. And I thought GM's bowtie radio looked cheap.
  19. Not anything made by GM. I wouldn't buy a used GM pre-dating 2005. Excluding classics and Corvettes, of course.
  20. Or maybe MCE Equinox?
  21. We demand better quality pictures or someone loses an eye.
  22. I just realized this is in the wrong damn forum. Would a mod/admin care to move it at your earliest convenience? Thanks! Yay, thanks for the move!
  23. It will actually be his personal vehicle, but he's a real basics kind of guy and didn't want power anything or carpeted floors. So he finally found a dealer that had, or I should say would pick up, what he wanted. A white 2007 GMC Sierra Ext Cab 2WD with 4.8L V8. Crank windows, manual door locks, and hose-out flooring. Only option other than the extended cab is cloth seats instead of vinyl. He haggled the dealer down to $22,500, including tax and licensing fees, from $24,900 excluding tax and fees. Plus 0% interest, and I think he's putting $2-3k down, so he got a damn good deal, IMO. I'll see if I can get pictures and his impressions when he picks it up this week.
