  1. Democracy is a misnomer for most modern electing governments. Democratic Republic is the correct term for the electoral governments most governments have. Democracy is majority rules, which can lead of mob rule. Democratic Republics prevent this by giving smaller population states equal voting power.
  2. Yeah, that didn't make any sense.
  3. Its called an opinion. The Accord interior is boring, the Malibu's is not. I wouldn't buy EITHER car, were I in the market (and could afford a mid-size sedan with the options I wanted) anyway. My ass would be in an Altima coupe or Mazda 6.
  4. I agree whole heartedly. What makes these people think they have the right to have it so good? My wife works 10X harder than they and I do (but she also makes more than I do at the moment), yet they somehow deserve better pay, benefits, retirement and guaranteed work in the future? Sorry folks, thats not how this world works anymore. If you have a problem with the executives getting bonuses and their pay, lets see you run a company like GM, make it profitable DESPITE all it has going against it and keep it afloat. Executives can make or break a company, the rank and file cannot.
  5. GM has no intentions (I hope) to bend to the UAW's strong-arming this time around. I hope GM has the sense to see the UAW as a self-devouring snake too blinded to see that in their pursuit of the status quo, they're destroying themselves and the auto industry.
  6. GMs survival depends on its ability to be flexible, an attribute that the UAW has no abundance of. Hopefully GM doesn't bend to the UAW strong-arming and mob tactics. The UAW leadership doesn't get it and the membership is too stupid to get it even when they're told. They just line up like lemmings following the leader off the cliff. Gettlefinger: "They pushed us off the cliff." No, you pushed yourselves off the cliff. Welcome to the rest of the American workforce, ladies and gentleman. Where you have to be SKILLED to earn a decent wage.
  7. Throw'em all out on their ears. To hell with the whole lemming-minded lot.
  8. My god, Chrysler just keeps getting worse!

    Canyon V8!

With the same crappy interior, I couldn't care less.
  10. Have they released standard features for the XR?
  11. Too bad its overpriced by about $2k.
  12. Yeah, I sprayed the rotors with brake cleaner when I put them on, so I don't think thats it. I think I just rode them a little hard on their first use. Didn't think about them needing to be broken in first. I'll keep an eye on them, though.
  13. Yeah, when I took it around the neighborhood to check'em out, I stomped on them a little hard. They behaved fine, no odd noises or anything. No brake fluid anywhere either.
  14. Saved myself about $230, too. Brakes had been jumpy for a while and I was just dealing with it. Its like driving a whole new car! Question though...is it normal for them to smoke a little after use when they're brand new?
  15. I would be interested in an AWD, 200+hp model. But if they try to pawn off one of those lousy, gutless Toyota engines on us I'm going to be ticked.
  16. I thought it was pretty cool until I realized it had 4 doors.
  17. Good. The fewer people driving the same vehicle as me the better.
  18. 68, I don't like your sig. Your Buick is gorgeous, not ugly.
  19. Sure. Anything specific other than including those two vehicles? Oh and what model year for them?
  20. Temp sig and ava I made to use at another forum until I make a new one for here tonight or tomorrow.
  21. Well now the Malibu's price is just right. Thank you, Honda, for thinking so much of yourself.
  22. What the hell ever! Not surprised. This is the same company with brass balls enough to say people would confuse a Veracruz with a Lexus.
