  1. it's called "Baby's Breath"
  2. This will make a GREAT Law and Order episode!
  3. Which of the Silverado/Sierras have the Duramax. Pretend I know NOTHING about the truck lines.
  4. Well... not really... but help me buy one. I'm finding the increasing need for a truck/SUV. I have never been a fan of them so I don't know much about them. I'm looking for a good used deal. Here are the criteria: 1. Has to be Big 2.5. 2. Has to be full sized. I need to put big things like doors and appliances in it. 3. Would *like* a diesel, but not a deal breaker. 4. Would *like* 4wd, most likely a deal breaker. Edit: I'm keeping the CTS. This would just be a work truck for tending to my apartment buildings.
  5. Lincoln Zephyr Acura TL I was about to say Subaru Legacy GT... but as I thought about it, I realized I like the Subaru linup... even the B9. VW Pheaton
  6. I've never taken the CTS over 55mph.... EVAR....
  7. I don't get it.
  8. I never would have ate it in the first place. I would have had the manager take it back and have it redone.
  9. I can't imagine it taking any longer with pushbuttons then it does now with the electronic column shift BMWs.
  10. That's not so bad
  11. Why can't we just have push button shifters with paddle control on the steering wheel.
  12. Have you guys tasted the new Kool-aide yet? Column, shifters are back in. BMW and Mercedes are putting them back in their cars?
  13. People who are passionate about their car buy Grand Prix, CTS's, BMWs... heck even Civics. People who want an appliance buy Camrys, Corollas, base Malibus... and sometimes Civics. Civic is one of the few that's good for both.
  14. Chevy has a much more complete lineup then Ford... so having it be this close is impressive of Ford. Bet they're all F-150 and Mustang sales though......
  15. Agreed. The Maurader was a great idea poorly executed. The thing couldn't even beat a 1996 Caprice.... much less even burn rear rubber. Note to Ford since you're watching. If your "performance model" of a carline can get dusted by an Accord V6, it isn't a performance model. The Bonneville GXP was released when it was already obvious the Bonneville line was coming to an end. To fault the car for that isn't exactly fair. I think the current Impala SS, Charger SRT, 300 SRT-8, and even the SHO when it was good, are proof that high performance largish sedans can sell.
  16. GM produces Hybrids where it matters most. ONE GM Hybrid bus equals the fuel savings of about 30* Toyota Priuses. * number aproximate of course.
  17. LOL, there are tons out there worse then that!
  18. What's "single" got to do with it?
  19. I highly doubt the cabin is waterproof enough to matter.
  20. Awww... thanks Pauli...
  21. Are you guys *sure* this isn't a Toyota something?
  22. What's with the coffee can sticking out of the hood?
  23. Direct injection 2.8 litre turbo would fit the car's market and make it fairly zippy like the MazdaSpeed 6
  24. 1. Profits are affected by overhead costs. GM's are $1500 more expensive regarless of the car they build. 2. GM has to keep the mills cranking and selling to fleet simply because of these overhead costs. 3. GM has to try and cheap out on the designs simply because if they didn't they couldn't be price competitive and make money due to their over head costs. Could GM build a car that would kill the Camry? Sure... and they'd sell every one. Except to remain price competitive they'd have to sell them all at a lose OR bump up the price to where a comparible Camry is 3k cheaper then an equal quality Malibu.
