  1. Well... I supposed someone would have to date you...
  2. The Enclave stacks up very very competitavly against the MDX, XC90, and the Pacific. The MDX is really starting to look old.
  3. When you buy a Cadillac, you pay for the "extras". When you buy a Cadillac, your first concern is not fuel mileage.
  4. The market is wrong. The market is reacting to what Honda & Driver and Toyota Trend are spoon feeding them.
  5. Sorry, he ment to say the 5.3 in the mid priced Impala SS
  6. The Buick looks quite competitve against these. The Toureg and RX look dated on the outside already and the Toureg's interior is busy and nothing special. The Infinity doesn't compete with the Enclave, it competes with the SRX and X5. I think the Buick would sell well if it wasn't a Buick.
  7. Shouldn't that be the Chrysler Imperial? LOL
  8. I liked the show overall. The number of ill behaved little kids annoyed me <shakes cane>, but I got my revenge. I was sitting in the new Escalade and there was this rotten little brat climbing all over the inside. He was pushing, pulling, twisting every button he could find to see what he could break. He climbed into one of the second row captian's chairs and I saw my chance. I quickly hit the "flip and fold" button for that seat. His mother saw it happen but though he did it. Pulled him out of the car and gave him a good walloping. I was in a good mood for the rest of the day. I chatted with the Ferrari ladies for a little while. I had my Ferarri laptop with me and showed it to them. They acted like it was the coolest thing they'd seen all day.... admitedly they looked pretty bored before I walked up. I had 3 people ask if I worked for Ferarri during my stops to use the laptop. 1 of them offered to buy the laptop on the spot. The people at the Volvo display wore those creapy 70s teal blue suits with white shoes. They were nice and knowlageable. We spent a good amount of time going over the XC90. Chas's parents are considering one. Again there was a woman narrating a Chrysler vehicle as if she was a porn star. This time it was the Crossfire <NYIAS 2004, it was the Magnum>. If I notice it at NYIAS this year, I'll be sure Chrysler does it on purpose. The Renessance center is very nice, but it's easy to get lost in. You almost need a NAV system to get around.
  9. this isn't MySpace..... take it there.
  10. I made it to Detroit and back without NAV. For the last little bit of the trip trying to get to the Ren center, I used OnStar.
  11. Interesting... so about 25% of the C&G population is of an "alternative" sexuality.
  12. Not everyone wants NAV. An option either way is nice.
  13. Does anyone need flashcards for my name?
  14. CTS.. I like what I have
  15. If you want it, I'm sure I can negotiate a reasonable price for it. I'm sure he'd give you $50... maybe even $75..... to take it. It looks like hell.
  16. There is actually one of these at a little garage around here.
  17. All you need is a little fine print at the bottom of the ticket stub. *"We reserve the right to record marketing data via text, audio, video or other means"
  18. I think it was awful...
  19. I would buy 7 B-body Fleetwoods and put them in storage till I needed them.
  20. On my drive back from Detroit yesterday, an Impala LS and I were pacing each other. I don't know if it had the 3.5 or 3.9, but he didn't seem to have any trouble keeping up with me in the CTS.
  21. The VW Diesel of that time was rated at 90 hp but it had 155 lb/ft of torque at 1900 RPM. It's performance was roughly equal to the 2.0 gasoline from VW except in the fuel mileage department.
  22. The DTS does a better job at what it's supposed to do.
  23. Uh.... you're in a car, he's on foot.... what does he expect to be able to do? You coulda just rolled your window up even.
  24. It's not that they are discounting the Tahoe specifically. It's $2000 towards any vehicle except Saturn, H1, V-Series Cadillacs, Saab, and apparently Cobalt and the Kappas.
