  1. I, for one, agree with Bob that what is the point of 30% market share if the company is losing money doing it!? I much rather GM at a profitable 22% market share than an unprofitable 30% market share. I'm sure other stock holders feel the same way. GM is producing more great cars than they are duds. There are "gotta have" vehicles here already. The Escalades, the Kappas, the new 'Vette. The current CTS was "gotta have" for me... and I got it. The next CTS looks like it is the same. The Cobalt is selling so well they're having inventory issues <opposite of the kind Chrysler is having with the 300>. The Cobalt is making a profit!
  2. or Mitsubish becomes top shareholder of Isuzu Link
  3. Sounds promising... except for:
  4. all cars come in black, the rest are just factory errors.
  5. Look at this other neato innovation... Linky
  6. take it to IM you two.... oh... wait...
  7. I want to get Lutz really drunk to see what he'd *really* say.
  8. Love it! Love it! Love it!
  9. He likes the Eos?
  10. just to be clear $6000 off the *last* Escalades.
  11. I've mentioned it before right around the time gas was $3.00 a gallon. Where are our premium 4-cylinder cars from GM? Right now our choice is the 9-3.
  12. Ah, Bucks County then....
  13. The Commodore is already Americanized. It's gas tank is in the right place and the LHD models are already developed. They are using engines that are already certified for the U.S. the only thing it needs is an "American" skin. That part, I'm sure, was thought about long ago.... otherwise, what was the point of "Americanizing" the rest of the car?
  14. anyone want to meet up at hershey?
  15. Gah! that's a heavier than a Lucerne V6 and has about the same amount of power.
  16. floaty ride today = Euro tuned sport suspension 20 years ago
  17. Whew, my user name is Xxxxxxxx, disaster averted.
  18. the Corsa would/should kick the Yaris into the weeds. Fit and Versa would still be formitable foes. Aveo <in current form> would be rendered irrelevent.
  19. What makes you think GM only started thinking about this 2 months ago?
  20. You don't want the RX-7 BV, trust us on that one at least. Rotory engines are neat and fun to drive, but the older RX-7s had oil seal issues and you had to *constantly* keep up on the oil level. If you forgot you probably cost yourself an engine. I'd never buy the Eos without and extended and extensive warrenty. I've see the thing in motion at the Detroit Autoshow. As for the powertrain in the Eos: 200 HP + ~3810lbs. = not very exciting. 250hp + ~3910lbs = Chrysler 300 Touring + four 50lb. bags of sand. As for the interior design in the Eos: Did they steal the center pod out of a Lucerne or what?
