  1. Honda Odyssey:Gen 1 1995-1998 - 4 model years Gen 2 1999-2004 Gen 3 2005-Current There wasn't a gap and the first one ran 4 years.
  2. Then it should get a redesign/refresh. If Honda threw in the towel after one unsuccessful design, we'd never have the Odyssey. I mean seriously, if America can forgive Honda for this: American can get over the initial SRX missteps.
  3. Just proof that much of the "old GM" is still around........ Killing a vehicle as soon as they get it just right.
  4. Do you ever keep remotely on topic?
  5. Unlikely. Satelite radio is essentially an IP based system. There is only so much bandwidth to go around. I don't know how close to maximum capacity each company is, but with my XMRadio, sometimes stations sound "grainy"..... this tells me that the audio compression is turned waaaay up. While there is bound to be some overlap between companies, Who really knows how much more each company could add.
  6. Toyota Solara with an Audi grill
  7. I don't think it'll get over the FCC hurdle. When the FCC started issuing these licenses they specifically said that the two companies were to remain separate. The only way I can see this happening is if one license is sold off to another company.... maybe somebody like Dish Network, ClearChannel, or Comcast would be interested.
  8. With Lucerne portholes? Give it a slightly detuned STS-V power plant putting out 400hp+ and I might be in line for one.
  9. Toyota does just fine with 5 dealers in the greater Pittsburgh area..... I can't name 5 Chevy dealers without forgetting at least 10 others for each one I name.
  10. I submit this emoticon for your approval: should either be  or :buickman:
  11. He almost got a Super Duty last year.....
  12. Chrysler can't even sell it's RWD/AWD models these days, what makes you think that GM could sell them better? As far as the Dakota.... It invoices $700 MORE than the most basic GMT-900 Silverado, but add any options and the Silverado quickly becomes the better deal simply by being more truck. So... GM not only has something comparible, it's competition far exceeds the Dakota. Dakota needs rebates to move.... Silverado currently has none.

    Snow!

    almost time for no pants?
  14. So I can post this? Saturn Outlook Shelved!!
  15. except he doesn't put out....
  16. Quick! Someone chop up a Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler...... and heck Plymouth versions of the Lambda!
  17. Well I wouldn't say we don't have censorship because we don't and Flybrian is the best guy I've ever known.... but welcome to the site anyway.
  18. We at C&G should pool our money together and buy Chrysler. Since we're all American car buffs we could name the company American Motor Company. Yeah! ..... I can see it now!
  19. I've never understood why Dodge didn't make a suburban sized "Ram Charger" out of the Ram 1500. It seems like such a no brainer to me....... ..... oh... wait.
  20. Just do what Olds did 30 years ago. Plug up the spark plug holes with glow plugs, add a "wait to start" dash lamp, fill the tank with bunker C and off ya go......
  21. One thing I must say is don't judge the Equinox's maneuverability based on the W-body platform just because they're similar sizes. My '85 Lincoln Continental could get into places my smaller 1994 Cutlass Supreme never could. I'd say, take one home for a garage test fit. Don't let the people here talk you into the 3.6 unless you really want one. The 3.4 is quite adequate for daily wife duty and more fuel efficient at that. I test drove a friend's fairly base Equinox and I was fairly impressed with it for what it was.... and my daily driver is usually a CTS with the 3.6.
  22. "Sportvan" no such thing
  23. But GM does know how to do it right..... they just choose not to for production.
