  1. Honestly, it was in a fairly congested location and wasn't all that large or modern of a dealership. People don't like driving in that area because of all the traffic. Hopefully the new owner will modernize the dealership a bit.
  2. wouldn't drive it for 4 days?
  3. Saturn Ion meets Cadillac Catera meets Cadillac CTS and had a baby with birth defects.
  4. I know a guy in west central Florida that might be interested. You may be right on resale, but the owners that did buy them are fiercely loyal to their Auroras. My mother has a generation 2 Aurora with now 60k miles or so. She literally doesn't know where to go from her Aurora when the time comes. She doesn't want the Lucerne and doesn't want to spend the money for an STS. She really just wants another Aurora. Why? Because it's been very reliable for her, she likes the luxury features, she likes the understated looks, she liked it's low cost for the features. Her main gripes are that Walmart never has her oil filter in stock and she's been complaining about vibrations on the highway...forgetting that she still has her first set of tires. You've only been posting here for the last day. So far, if this were SlashDot.Org, I would mod every single one of your posts <-1 Troll>. If your sole purpose here is to universally bash GM and blindly praise Imports, at least give us the courtesy of letting us know so we can all block your posts.
  5. generally, the thermostat is closed when the engine is cold so no coolant is flowing to the radiator at that point. The thermostats generally open around 180 degrees <ymmv> and that's when the coolant flows through the radiator.
  6. yikes! That doesn't sound right!
  7. could you explain why you're not happy? I like electrics because they sap less energy from the engine.
  8. address the basics first before buying the baubles.
  9. yes, but he can't drive a manual transmission car.
  10. Money is everything. Anyone who tells you otherwise is dilluding themselves. Art is only art if someone will pay to see it. The only thing money can't buy is good knee caps.
  11. uh... I think he was probably taking more than just "guys".
  12. I'll agree about the wood, but I couldn't find a tan interior Impala. The tan interior with the wood looks 1000 times better. So here is gray X3 interior.... but you're still focusing on items that naturally would be different on cars with a $20k difference. I'm talking about the over all design. Other than the steering wheel, it just doesn't look special, or more better, or any of the terms generally thrown about regarding BMW interiors. These look much more upscale and give a "warm fuzzy" that the X3 doesn't. I mean really. Look at that SRX dash compaired to the X3. Cadillac is ahead of BMW in design in this case. What I'm getting at here is that the X3's asthetic design is more akin to the Impala's when it should be more along the lines of the M-class, SRX, and Touareg.
  13. Wow that new grill makes all the difference!
  14. Ocn, I'm sure you know.... sometimes you just have to take it out and flog it.
  15. What are tomorrow's winning lottery numbers?
  16. the new 6-speed was supposedly dimensionally smaller than the 4-speed it replaced.
  17. I wave my magic stick all the time..... gets me all sorts of wishes...
  18. I'm sure you're only refering to the minutia. My point is, design wise, there isn't a $20k swing here...
  19. Nicer wood texture? It's glossy smooth! Nicer steering wheel design? It must be that 3-spoke thing that everyone harps on. I like neither of them actually Manual transmission isn't an interior feature Nicer leather texture? you can tell that from photographs? Pop-up nav screen... ok you've got me there since the Impala doesn't come with Nav. But still, I was talking about design more than features.
  20. Guys, I need your help.... How is this.... so much more special than this..... seriously....
  21. if the first one wasn't really good, how can the new one be more of a good thing?
  22. he was refering to the supercharged 3800 which has 240hp and 280 torque compaired to the 3900 which has 233hp and 240 torque. yeah, I can see how the s/c 3800 would be faster.
  23. RBB, your sig is appearing twice. Might want to check that out....
  24. I disagree with the premise of the original post because there are people who visit this forum that don't deserve respect. They come to the forum simply to troll and stir up angst while contributing nothing of value. The idea that we must afford someone respect simply because they signed up here is absurd. Toyota Tokers, Wagoner hating wankers and Honda humpers can take it to another forum if their only purpose in being here is to disrespect GM.
