  1. LOL @ "shifting" the most efficient transmission, designed not to shift
  2. fiberglass
  3. an announcement that as the current vehicles with pushrod V6es finish their product cycles, the pushrods will be replaced with OHC engines.
  4. relative to what?
  5. have you had wind storms recently?
  6. I find it interesting that they used a different flip seat setup in the Silverado than they did in the Avalanche. The Avalanche's work well and leave you with a level load surface. Save some engineering dollars here GM.
  7. I think this is one we can all agree on
  8. technically, he could have been writing his post prior to the Z-warning and thus never saw it.
  9. Link The price increases range from $60 to $425 per vehicle with a majority of the hikes in the $90 to $120 range.
  10. fixed, better analogy.
  11. Post your persuasion. one of my favs:
  12. You're wrong. It's not a gay pride parade. If I post a pic of a hot guy celebrity, it's because it's the subject of the thread. 30% of the guys here are of alternate sexualities. Do you expect them to suddenly post pics of hot women celebrities just because hot guy celebrities offends you? Seriously. Answer that one.
  13. Careful, that's the gayness kicking in.
  14. Would you be ok if I changed the gender in my profile to "female" so I didn't offend your delicate sensibilities by posting pictures of hot male celebrities? I'm man enough to handle it, it's just a profile setting. Would it make you feel better if we had all of the 1/2 naked hot male celebrities pics posted by OhSnap instead? It's already been established that about 30% of the forum has some "alternative" sexuality. I would fully expect 30% of the posts to reflect that.
  15. happy b-day you guys
  16. Could be fun with the right engine/suspension setup....
  17. Agreed, I generally like the GMC better, but I like that Silverado in that trim.
  18. Maybe Chrysler is doing the smart thing and putting all it's chips in the Aspen.. </sarcasm>
  19. That must be painted black sir. Make sure to tint out the windows and make yourself some extra money in May.
  20. It's a shame no one ever though of that before...
  21. When I came out 10 years ago, it seemed necessary to have a sit down "announcement" with the people I was coming out to. It was people's reactions that necessitated that. These days, I treat it so a-matter-a-factly that coming out is as simple as introducing me partner to someone or keeping a picture of us on my desk. I suspect that with celebrities, coming out on a national scale is needed simply to stop the whispers and speculation. For example, look at Chris at the beginning of this thread offering speculation on Anderson Cooper. Since he hasn't been on Barbara Walters yet, it's not widely known that he is gay. Even some gay guys don't "know" it yet, they just have their suspicions. Anderson Cooper being gay is still whispered about in that wink wink nudge nudge sort of way even though he makes little if any effort to hide it. If he came out on a national scale it would become a non-story after about a day. I think that's the exact reason Neil Patrick Harris came out like this. Next week, it's non-news.
  22. You're all chipping in to buy me this for my B-day right?
  23. For those that don't like the Silverado's styling, can I interest you in this lovely GMC Sierra over here?
  24. Holy crap! That car is pimp. BTW, you need to update your sig.
