  1. Escalade is at least a two hit wonder. No real competition from Acura, Audi, Infiniti. No one has done the Escalade better. The next gen CTS isn't out yet, but from the looks of things, that'll be at least a two hit wonder. It looks as if it will address all the "issues" that the current CTS has. They've fixed the SRX. It now truely is world class and can easily sit with the likes of MB, Acura, and Audi. The STS fix is coming. You've seen the pics I'm sure. It already has the platform, now it's getting the interior. Audi, Benz and even BMW should be worried. One hit wonder what?!
  2. Dual zone is a red herring, it doesn't really vary the temperatures that much.
  3. More COTY winners: Was there really nothing better in 1972? And last, but certainly not least.... remember, if you're driving one of these, you're a winner.
  4. Here was it's competition. Out of this group, the Camry did deserve to win. The only cars that stood a chance were the Aura and Altima.
  5. not likely, at today's price, he'll be taking a loss of about 2.50 a share...
  6. Aura
  7. I bet you would if it had an "H" on the grill </sarcasm>
  8. fixed.
  9. Woah! It's got the shape, now it just needs the hardware... that could be 7-series competitive with that shape.....
  10. I wondered why the stock was tanking these past two days....
  11. and people wonder why cars are so expensive these days.
  12. I wouldn't do the Buick, just the Saturn and Chevy. Saturn is moving upmarket and fast, it is easily going to take over Oldsmobile's space in a few years. Oldsmobile is more of a family/people's car than Buick is. Chrysler, the biggest minivan seller gets by with just Dodge and Chrysler. There is no way that GM, one of the lowest minivan sellers needs more than that. Chevy Biscayne = Dodge Caravan/Chrysler Voyager Saturn Relay = Chrysler Town & country
  13. The 98 Malibu is a completely different car and platform than the current model. They are similar in name only.
  14. I don't know what you're talking about man. Mom had a Bonneville for years. It's what I took my driver's test in. Plenty of legroom back there.
  15. eh, that's your next gen 300c right there folks.
  16. I don't get it.
  17. Not seeing what you're seeing Bimmer: Aura: Malibu:
  18. the Hyundai is a mess The Mazda, Ford, and Accord all look dated already The Nissan and G6 look too close for comfort, and they remind me of the final generation Grand Am. The Camry is just ok, fairly bland and non-descript The Passat looks like a watered down Lucerne The Jetta is ok, but I'd like to see it in another color. Where's the Aura?
  19. Personally, I was waiting to enjoy the crash test pictures....
  20. someone break embargo?
  21. Where did you get that?
  22. Doctor, can I be on what he's on?
  23. or $19k on a Miata... but then there's that whole blending into the wallpaper problem to deal with.
  24. so... funny sounding I4 making 175 HP/180 ft.lbs or funny sounding V6 making 205hp/230 ft.lbs. and both get about 30mpg highway. I'm not sure what you mean when you say the Altima is roomier, the only dimension where the Altima beats the Bonnie is in front legroom by an inch. Rear legroom in the Bonneville is two inches more than the Altima.
