  1. and the fact that the Crown Vic is now outselling the 500
  2. So wait... digital speedometers are cool again?
  3. I see nothing wrong with the W-bodies for what they were in their day. My problem is with how long they've been around. Of course, the only ones worth their salt were the Olds models. :AH-HA_wink:
  4. expected and unremarkable. You wouldn't know it was "special" except for the logo on the grill.
  5. Could be, but not always. Even when the dealer does my oil change, they put that stupid sticker up on my windshield saying to come back in 3000 miles. It gets taken down before I even turn the key.
  6. Someone else pointed out sales numbers, but I was referring to power. Either way, CTS-V wins.
  7. I only use Mobil 1. After it's been in the engine a while, you really can't tell the difference. You won't harm the engine by switching. You can ask for synthetic when you get your oil changed. It'll cost more. The cheapest synth oil change I've found is at Walmart. As much as I hate Walmart, they'll do a synthetic oil change for you for less than it costs to buy the oil and filter off the shelf. As long as you're not leaking oil too bad, you can just about double the time between oil changes. I don't know what your Dodge has, but both my Avalanche and CTS have engine oil life monitors. I judge my oil change time off those and generally get about 12k between changes.
  8. It's going to be a badge job direct from Holden. Look at the Commodore SS and that's what you'll get.
  9. lil smaller :AH-HA_wink:
  10. I'm going to make an uneducated guess that 50% of those will be Outlooks selling around Pilot prices... thus the other 50% will be Acadias and Enclaves... both of which will sell at a substantially higher price than even a loaded up Pilot. 150k vehicles at a higher average transaction price than the Pilot is not a bad thing.
  11. I think it was likely a timing and capacity issue.
  12. Not true. I remember when the CTS-V came out all the bruhaha that was being spewed about the 5.7 not having DOHC and it not being refined enough for a Cadillac or to compete with BMW/Mercedes.
  13. Lieutenant Commander
  14. Even the current CTS-V has better numbers than the upcoming IS-F while looking better too.
  15. It's a great way for the Toyota PR department to say: 1. The IS-F is sold out for the year. 2. The IS-F is the most desirable <longest waiting list> premium sport sedan on the market. easier to track the purchasers and give them kid glove treatment and claim 3. Highest owner/driver satisfaction in the premium sport sedan market.
  16. If GM, Ford or Chrysler did profit sharing, it'd be in the form of a pre-filled deposit slip distributed to their workers.
  17. That looks like a GTO with a modified GP front end. In short.... no.
  18. Why? It didn't take long for Honda to start running out of Pilots and they're not exactly known for being an SUV company.
  19. Nothing like creating artificial demand to help the mystique....
  20. Trust me guys, it looks hot without the wrapping. :AH-HA_wink:
  21. The craptastic Rendezvous + Aztek was good for 80k per year. I think the new triplets will be able to sell at a much higher clip, probably hitting 150k a year while also having higher transaction prices.
  22. Hopefully it has better reliability than the Motorola Razr, but it's a Chrysler product.... so no promises.
  23. We're going to see you on that ABC new program aren't we......
  24. Most likely to have a subscription to OnStar? I have AAA, but if I were to need road side assistance in the CTS, I'd be pressing that little blue button I pay $34 a month for.
