    Biodiesel is an alternative to fossil diesel..... and *all* diesels built after about 1996 are automatically flex fuel.

    first car I fell in love with? When I was 3 years old my grandmother had a 1979 Olds Custom Cruiser diesel. I loved the "wacka wacka" sound when it was running. It was my job to tell her when the "Wait to Start" light was out. First car I fell in love with and said I'd own one day? 1994 Cutlass Supreme Convertible.

    A diesel engine <in general, not counting the Olds 350d> will offer substantially longer use than any hybrid setup.

    bring the diesel over and use 100% biodiesel.... even less fossil fuels than E85.
