  11. I nearly demolished a Saab 9-3 convertible last night..... but if I had, he would have deserved it. We're on a two lane, one way road coming up to a light. At the light your options are proceed straight or make a right if you're in the right hand lane... and only straight if you're in the left hand lane. Note that no matter which lane you're in, you can go straight. I'm in the right hand lane following this Saab, no one is in front of him, when about 50 yards before the light he decides that he needs to be in the left hand lane RIGHT f@#kING NOW. Of course there is traffic in the left hand lane already so he just slams on his brakes and puts his signal on.... apparently oblivious to the 6,000 lbs of Chevy truck a mere 4 car lengths behind him. It has just started raining so the roads were slick. The ABS struggled to keep the wheels from locking up. I have never come so close to hitting someone without actually hitting them. Less than 4 inches between our vehicles.
  12. 2009?!? Good lord..... As for the HV3.5, I think the 3.9 would be more appropriate, but as long as whatever the base engine is, it has 250hp and decent torque.

How about this shot I took in Köln? If anyone wants the full size version of this shot, it's simply stunning.

The best part about this rather plain bridge is that there are signs pointing you towards it from over 45 miles away. In many cases, you'd have to pass up about a dozen opportunities to cross the river between the sign and the bridge. They probably spent as much on signage to promote the bridge as they did on actually building the damn thing.
  15. Has Ford turn the speed of their lines up to 11 yet?

  21. The problem was so bad on one particular bridge here in Pittsburgh that the city built a net and a second "bridge" under the bridge to catch anything tossed over.
  22. From the debates in Michigan: Sorry, wrong. Go directly to School House Rock, do not pass Go, do not collect $200.This guy is a front runner? This is why we're allowed to be disgusted. Here we have a leading Presidential candidate who doesn't even understand something covered in a PBS cartoon from 20 years ago. In a moment of sanity that was viewed mostly as insanity:
