  1. Needs more balance. Detroit needs more middle class downtown housing that isn't a complete $h!hole. The idea that 300k is "base price" is laughable.
  2. I foresee a commercial in about a years time with Daddy woods driving an Enclave with Baby woods in the back seat.
  3. Those are sales I don't mind letting Hyundai and Toyota take.....
  4. only if people start shrinking their Sigs proportionally.....
  5. That'll help the Vue, Outlook, Acadia, and Nox a bit.....
  6. When both were released around the same time and the GM replacement is mere months away... yeah, I think it's valid.
  7. I understand where you're coming from...but I didn't mean an exact clone of these vehicles.... something more like a short wheelbase version that would take the place of the Trailblazer.
  8. The worrying thing to me is that there are no inexpensive versions of this platform yet. While it's great that the high end models are selling, I worry about when those sales lose steam. There needs to be a Chevy version.
  9. And then on the other side Pontiac/Olds/GMC and Cadillac/Hummer
  10. If I were GM, I'd ignore it and keep going. Chrysler is going to have to resort to desperate measures like this just to stay alive.
  11. Enclave probably has the highest margin too...
  12. Is the Malibu not a Malibu? Is the Grand Prix not a Grand Prix? Driving wheels don't define a vehicle except in certain cases like the Toronado or the Cord 810.
  13. Fixed.... I'm channeling Knightfan here....
  14. Fair review... but anyone who test drives an Avalanche compared to this will be seeing bills in the mail from GMAC every month. In just about every aspect except dashboard design, even my 2003 Avalanche is a better truck than the Tundra.
  15. fit and finish is another issue. we're talking design here. stay on track. The center stack doesn't have to be in the center ya know.... Sometimes in driver oriented vehicles it's turned to the driver. or like the one in your very own CTS. But... it's not a perfectly symmetrical and horizontal BMW dash, so it's crap.
  16. or... you know.... actually being better.....
  17. Because there's a drunken L on the hood.
  18. You can swap out center caps very easily.... could have just been a dealer switcheroo
  19. I've wanted to go to that every year and I've NEVER made it! I think it's usually over labor day weekend.... and as such, I'll be in Germany!
  20. Had Chas broken up with me in an honorable way I wouldn't hate him the way I do now. Chas had an affair with a 68 year old retiree and then got mad at me for being upset and depressed about it. He doesn't even acknowledge that he did anything wrong. I am still friends with all of my other past relationships because they ended on good terms. I am only on the most limited of speaking terms <e-mail only> with Chas only because some of our finances are still tied up together.
  21. I'll be around. Anyone who is traveling that wants to stop by is welcome to look me up.
  22. I blame walmart because walmart has force manufacturers to China in an effort to bring you "Everyday low prices! " This ended up effecting products at ALL stores. If a toy manufacturer was force to begin producing in China because of Walmarts imposed price cuts, that same manufacturer is going to sell that same product to Target.
  23. This is where Toyota does it's cost cutting. NPR did a story months back about the domestics <basically a bash piece> saying how GM had something like 27 rear view mirror designs while Toyota has 4. They were praising Toyota for it, but in my mind I was thinking to myself... well, at least GM's look right.
