  1. Major software update today, that is what changed the theme. I had been holding off on doing the upgrade because not all of our add-on apps were compatible. I'm still putting things back together. I will be taking the site down later this afternoon as I have some server upgrades to do as well.
  2. Thanks! We pick it up in about 2 hours.
  3. It’s almost exactly 50% deprecation in 3 years assuming the original owner paid MSRP, (I doubt they did, but still).
  4. @ocnblu is the best at this. He got the Avalanche too. 2017 Chrysler 300C, AWD, white with the linen interior. CarPlay, heated/ventilated seats, pano sunroof, adaptive cruise with lane keep assist. 18,700 miles for $24k
  5. No to both. Fusion Hybrid is not AWD. Notice i said that there is faulty data in @David’s list? The car is there, but he eliminated it from one of the lists when he shouldn’t have. That also implies that none of the cars in his final list are it.
  6. Cooled seats are usually referred to by manufacturers as ventilated seats. Large sunroofs are called Panoramic Sunroof. Your list is incomplete.
  7. It is not the G80.
  8. Very commendable logic. However there is an error in your data. The vehicle is in your original list but didn't make it to your final list due to faulty data. And the S90 is not it.
  9. That was the runner up. Found a loaded 2017 Regal with adaptive cruise and the mocha brown interior with 35,000. I just felt it was too small inside for what we want to do. If we weren’t hauling his parents, it would be fine.
  10. Well I think we made a decision. I still want him to drive it first. To avoid claims of misdirection, he decided that the SUVs that fit his criteria were more than he wanted to spend, so we went back to sedans. He loosened the restrictions on interior color and allowed for anything that wasn’t all black. Found 2 options and I’ve driven both from different manufacturers. The one I settled on is a 2017, has CarPlay, heated / cooled seats, adaptive cruise, huge sunroof, AWD. Only 18,000 miles edit: oh and it’s not the CTS
  11. We’re looking at most brands. Only Nissan/Infiniti, Hyundai/Kia (not Genesis), and Mitsubishi are under general veto.
  12. Oddly, I was ambivalent about the CTS. I liked the first and second generations, but the 3rd gens really didn't do much for me except in V or V-Sport trim, neither of which are options because they only come in RWD. It's not really him getting into and out of the vehicle. It's getting his parents in and out. Since they don't drive anymore, we cart them around places, so his vehicle purchase has to account for them. He's being a pain though... he's vetoed anything with an all black interior now. He wants a nice brown interior like we have in our Encore.
  13. NJ was off to a great start doing that. It wasn't just on new homes, but a lot of existing homes and businesses retrofitted solar panels. It's been a great success.
  14. 2018 Cadillac CTS AWD V6 Luxury Group He actually picked it out, but now he thinks he wants to stick with an SUV.
  15. The Encore's time with us is nearing its end. It needs tires, brakes, and possibly a master cylinder. When I was under it last weekend installing new LED headlights and fog lamps I noticed oil coating the oil pan and the coolant reservoir tank was nearly empty. We've had a coolant leak issue before when the thermostat housing cracked. It's not exhibiting any symptoms currently beside the tank being low... but it lit up my radar. Carvana is offering $8,200 in trade for a 2013 Encore with 101k miles... so I think I'd be dumb not to take that offer up before I have to sink $1,200+ dollars into it. That's the trap we got caught in with the CR-V, we kept sinking money into it thinking we'd hold on to it longer, but it would only last about 2 months before it demanded more money. So we had a car picked out as of last night, but Albert is having doubts, so I'm canceling the purchase process. Watch this space.
  16. Only on the base trim? That's super odd. What does the upper trim come with? Fix-a-Flat?
  17. Ooooh, this is one I’ve wanted to get in. They’ll depreciate like mad, so maybe in a few years.
  18. What’s wrong with HomeAdvisor?
  19. Shark
  20. Wait a mullet!!!!
  21. I get recommendations from Homeadvisor, Costco, etc. Electrify America's service isn't much different than that. I have and electrician and plumber I use. I just went through Costco to get a quote on a garage door replacement.
  22. I have a button in my MyChevy app that has my dealer's info in it.
  23. I'm actually going to get a quote from them and a competing installer. I'll let you know.
  24. Well, you already know my opinion on the CT6... I'd have one in an instant if I could. I still think it is one of the most handsome designs to come out of GM in a generation. My point was aside from those... the Denali, the Escalade, the CT6, possibly Enclave.... there is nothing at GM that lights my fire. They're either mediocre (the rest of the Cadillac/Buick lineup) or they're UGLY (half the Silverado lineup, all of the Chevy/GMC full-size SUVs). I had a Terrain Denali 2.0T last year as a tester and it's a perfectly competent vehicle, but the outside is just so homely.... I would pick the Pilot, Cherokee, or CX5 over it based on looks alone. The Acadia looks like someone grafted a Sierra front clip onto the earlier version of the crossover and it just doesn't work. Is there a more "bar of soap" crossover out there than the Equinox? Three way tie with the new Escape and the Model-Y for that title? The Blazer isn't too bad from the front, but they used all of the styling budget up there and had none left for the rear. The Corvette is cool I guess, but so far out of my wheelhouse as to not register as a real car.
  25. My comments like above should always be prefaced with the "If life allowed". I'm not buying a Denali because I can't afford one. I'm not buying a CT6 because it high centers on my driveway. A large three-row could conceivably be in my future, but I can name a few I would buy before the Enclave. I liked the ELR as a potential commuter for Albert, but without AWD and with having the haul his parents, it's a no-go. What I was saying was those vehicles are the only GMs on the list that would even get the attention from me to buy if I was in the position to do so.
