  6. the yellow kind...
  7. Well, tomorrow you can watch me tie my shoes.
  8. We're having a script issue. We're aware of the problem and are working to fix it.
  9. GM went extinct in November of 2011 after CEO PCS ran the company into the iceburg full steam ahead by selling rebadged Tata Nanos as the new Chevy Camaro. SS versions get racing stripes and faux leather shift knobs but maintain their 33hp engines. Cadillac sold off to Honda/Acura who was desperately looking for a premium image. Ford releases an updated version of the Taurus that runs on BS. At the last minute changes the name to Fairmont. Chrysler sold to Electrolux of Sweeden just for laughs*. Volvo merges into Chrysler. Toyota builds best EVAR Camry. Now runs purely on a mixture of engine sludge, recycled camshafts and PR. Honda builds builds most reliable Accord ever. Hybrid now available in a lovely shade of Soylent green. BMW releases new God powered 3-series sporting bold new exterior design and classic interior that harks back to 1993. Fanboys and automotive journalists all die simultaneously from the orgasm. *do your research as to why this would be funny.
  10. the dollars/euros in my pocket? I put my money where my mouth is. I purchase GM vehicles new. I'm not some guy who will only spend $800 on a 1977 land yacht. I intend to buy a diesel CTS when I get to Germany. GM keeps this up and I'll become that guy who only buys GM, but only ones that are 20 years old and the CTS-D will be my last new car from them. We're ultimately the ones with the power. If GM's goal is 12% market share your ideals are certainly the way to do it.
  11. I never noticed this about the Monte Carlo until recently. The wheel openings are different sizes.... ok, not terrible... but it's the FRONT wheel openings are that are larger!
  12. Please PM me when this happens.
  13. woops! I thought it was still fox based at that point.
  14. No no... you have it wrong, that's definitely the blue devil Cadillac Sixteen mule!
  15. Buick used to have 5 models, it now has 3 Saturn used to have 3 models, it now has 5.
  16. One way ticket to OZ, FTW.
  17. it's one thing to tell us it was coming. it's completely another to take glee in all of our disappointment. that is what makes you particularly annoying.
  18. you mean when will GM Europe stop being a bunch of "we know what's best for you now sit down and shut up" douchebags and let the US <and Australia, and the Middle East, and Asia> have real cars and switch everything in that list to "approved"

  20. The thing I like best about the Civic Hybrid that I drive with my Flexcar account is that the hybrid part makes up for the pathetic low end torque of the typical Honda 4-banger. It makes it a very pleasant drive around town and I don't feel like I have to flog the car to get moving. To me, it's simply a better performing powertrain that happens to get really great mileage.
  21. Sometime... just sometimes... people buy hybrids for something other than saving money. The Tahoe is the vehicle for the person who wants to be as green as possible while towing his sailboat. I consciously make the choice to conserve energy even if it might cost a few more dollars to do so.
  22. the 355s should play on the global scale, not just here in the US.... and for that reason should be updated.. especially if they'd include the 2.9 liter diesel.
  23. The Monte Carlo was also an awkwardly proportioned front driver on a platform that made the car qualified for antique plates the moment it rolled off the line. I wouldn't use it as a valid comparison. The Eldorado hadn't been updated significantly since it's early 90's intro. The Mark VIII was riding on a platform eclipsed in age only by the Panther. It's not that buyers left the full size coupe market... it's that the full size coupe market left the buyers.
