  1. Looks great however you can probably take the name out of the logo. Being a circle would allow it to easily be swapped in, in place of this: or this: Edit: I'd like to see you work over all the logos. You seem to have the imagination for it. Edit 2: I'm suddenly in the mood for fava beans and a nice chianti. brb.
  2. Is FlexPower a new name for FlexFuel or AFM? 3900 in the Lucerne should give it a decent bump. I bet that engine can be made to run real quiet.
  3. they retested the original CTS
  4. Do we need a whole new thread where we all tell you how bad of an idea that is.... or will this one do?
  5. It'll sell because early 30s, assistant manager, fat chicks who wear stretch pants will continue to buy the things they are familiar with regardless of how it looks...... obviously.
  6. that's not saying much. My 1996 Roadmaster wagon is more functional than most of the new CUVs out there... and gets marginally better mileage too.
  7. Happy Birthday to both of you. 68, I have a giftcard to B-Pillars-R-Us here for you.
  8. It looks like some sort of robotic Anime character to me. edit: Holy crap! That is a LOT of buttons on the center stack! The shifter manages to be even more pointless than the one on the Chrysler mini-vans. The interior surfaces on the dash and center stack look amazingly cheap. edit 2: Strangely, it instantly makes the current Pilot look like a 15 year old Isuzu. The price range would get you into a host of more attractive/functional vehicles including; Edge, Vue, Acadia, Outlook, RX, XC90, Escape Hybrid.

    Should I?

    Is this a trick question?
  10. I used a Pruis ZipCar yesterday. This was my first time in a Prius ever. What. A. Piece. 1. This is a midsize car? Really? The Civic Hybrid I drive regularly feels roomier. 2. The center console was quite wobbly 3. The cup holders have no tension device to hold their occupants... which would be fine if they were also deep enough. A can of soda fits loosely at best. 4. The rearview camera was nice. I found myself using it a lot since rearward visibility is so terrible. 5. You have to press the start button twice? Really? 6. There was nothing on the dash that indicated the car was ready to drive. 7. Does Toyota really think we are so set on our need for a shifter that we need that little plastic dollarstore videogame joystick for a gear selector? If there ever was a time for a pushbutton transmission, this would be it.
  11. that would be what mathematicians call "the remainder"
  12. Nissan to Stop Building Quest, Armada and Infiniti QX56 Link to Kicking Tires Nissan has announced that it will stop producing the Quest minivan, Armada and full-size SUV and its Infiniti sibling the QX56 when the Mississippi factory they’re made in switches to building commercial vehicles in early 2010. The company has confirmed it will build not said if it will build future versions of the slow-sellers they just don't know where. The only word from Nissan is that final decisions have not been made, but there is the “intention” to build them. “When we get to the end of each vehicle's cycle, we look at the market,” a spokesperson said. Sounds to us like company speak that Nissan will not build new versions of the three two. If it actually announced that fact today, though, it could impact sales of the 2009 models that will still be built and sold on new-car lots. All three Both vehicles were either aging in their segment or poor performers, so seeing them go probably won’t hurt Nissan, which has seen better success with new smaller offerings like the Versa and the Rogue compact SUV. What do you think? Would the Quest, Armada and QX56 be missed?
  13. I think it has more with men's ability to separate sex from love. I don't think it's any tougher to remain faithful if you're gay.
  14. You're entitled to your opinion, however, I do not have to share it.
  15. Do open relationships count? and when I mean open, I mean honest communication happens and fun outside of the relationship is both condoned and encouraged.
  16. Fine, but then at least discuss it factually. Returning to the gold standard would NOT solve this countries financial issues and in fact would likely cause mass inflation not to mention it really isn't worth anything in terms of international trading unless you get all the countries you trade with to go to a gold standard as well. Good luck with that one.
  17. And other Germans think David Hasslehoff is a great actor/singer... so what?
  18. some of the perspective is a bit off, but I get what the rock is cookin.
  19. man... really. lay off the kool-aid!
  20. I think Honda over shot the mark a bit on this one. It's now so much larger than the Civic that one almost feels like there needs to be a car in between them. It's almost as if Ford were fielding only the Taurus and Focus and had no Fusion in between. Not that I'm rooting for Honda, but I think they might have been better off keeping the Accord the size of the previous one putting it up against the Fusion/Milan, Malibu, Sebring <laugh>, Camry, and Altima. Then introduce this Accord with optional AWD as a new car to put up against Taurus/Sable, Avalon <the non-lux ones>, Lucerne, Maxima, Impala, 300/Charger, and yes... G8. Drop the 4-cylinder and have two sized of V6 instead.
  21. He already has my pics.... well... most of them.
  22. I'm a cross between Judge Judy and Simon Cowell and Dr. House once you get to know me. So much so that I was going to dress as Dr. House for Halloween this year but decided against it. I lamented to a friend that if I had dressed as Dr. House, no one would get the reference. Her reply was, "What, all you were going to do was walk with a cane?"
  23. hmmm maybe this is my big chance to move to So. Cal. and see what all the fuss is about. You up for it OC?
