I'll add that I don't think you'll cave on your boycott of new GM vehicles.
  5. QUOTE (CARBIZ @ Sep 13 2005, 08:44 AM) Not sure what all this has to do with General Motors, or cars in general. My gay friends have always thought me wierd. When we are walking down the street and I flip out, they are frantically scanning the sidewalks for a cute guy; meanwhile, I just spotted a '67 Caddy convertible go by. Same.

I voted 2011 Challenger. I voted Challenger because Ford is not going to bring a Falcon UTE over and I voted 2011 because thats when I predict the economy will return
  7. He always rides dirty.
  8. Think you can get heated seats in one?
  9. I've never been a Camaro lover, but I like this car. I could see myself driving one.
  10. Spark plugs are the one component in a gasoline engine that a diesel will never ever have.
  11. Probably trying to out brag each other on which one can really take down a US Airways flight.
  12. The point of the MetWrench set is that it fits both imperial and metric in the same socket. I've used the very set I linked you to when I rebuilt the front end on that '96 Roadmaster Estate. You'd need half as many sockets.
  13. How many diesels do you know that have spark plugs?
  14. The best one for me was when I wanted spark plugs for my '85 Continental and the dude behind the counter says "V8 or Diesel?" I just bluescreened at that point.
  15. Or you could just get a MetWrench set.....

I would have been far happier with McCain as President these past 8 years ... especially during 9-11.

Most people, including myself, saw McCain as just a continuation of Bush's policies especially regarding Iraq. "We'll stay for 100 years if we have to!", McCain exclaimed. The tax cuts for the rich really sold me as being anti-McCain. I did not just vote anti-McCain though. I like the President's proposals. I want him to succeed with them.

Do you think he is going to throw out all of his proposals and just do something completely different? Is he just going to go out back and shoot hoops for 4 years? The President, prior to his election, has shown what he wants to do. We elected him based on that.

Are you serious? The Whitehouse website has already been updated with his agenda and gives a lot of details. It is well thought out, comprehensive, and inclusive. We can see the direction he wants to take us in. Even if he can only accomplish part of this list it is still a major step forward for this country. Just looking at how efficiently he has put together the new cabinet and executed the transition. The unknown black man with the funny name out maneuvered the biggest names in today's political game. He raised more money and had more people involved than any candidate ever. I'm not worried about his ability to get things done.

No, I wouldn't have been that upset because I would just be happy that Bush was gone. I would have been hopeful that McCain would return to being the man he was in 2000 and the campaign he ran was just pandering to get elected.
  22. Drew Dowdell replied to Satty's topic in The Lounge
    Was that really necessary?
  23. uhm... run this by me again? If Saab is unable to stand with GM... why would it be able to stand without GM? It's like...you fail at riding a bike with training wheels, so your Dad takes the training wheels off.....
