Doesn't work. I did try it. However, I did find that you can leave the fob in your pocket, just walk up to the trunk, and lift it open. It's got that proximity detection thing in it.

Well all your old posts are still here, just more modern software that will allow us to expand and add more features overtime. Of course, many of the same... uhm... colorful... personalities are still here!

You should buy a Cadillac CTS. They are entirely roboticly assembled. Robots aren't unionized.

What transmission did you have in the Regal WK? My '85 Toronado, while no speed demon, didn't have trouble holding 60 nor would it be turning that kind of RPM to do it. I had a 4-speed auto with overdrive.

Toyota has been getting "government bailouts" from Tokyo for decades in the form of government healthcare and a manipulated, artificially low Yen. Toyota had more recalled vehicles than any other manufacturer this year. Ford and Buick are doing great in reliability surveys. so... yeah.

Computer Question For Camino
Drew Dowdell replied to Intrepidation's topic in Electronics and Technology
There's the cause of your C&G slowness. -
In other words. Have surgery to remove cancer of the lungs, brain, stomach, kidneys, and liver. Six months later, beat Lance Armstrong in the Tour de France. I'm driving around GM's first post-bankruptcy vehicle right now, a 2010 Buick Lacrosse. It was designed during "Old GM" times... when GM still had cancer. The level of fit and finish, the thoughfulness of many of the little things, the performance of the vehicle lead me to believe that if GM was capable of building this vehicle back then, Toyota, BMW, and Nissan need to be very concerned about their future once GM is out of das krankenhaus. Each new GM release needs to be stunning for it's segment... which it one reason I believe the Cruze was delayed. New GM is moving much faster than old GM ever did, but it still does take time to get vehicles designed and there may have to be some transitional vehicles like an AWD EPII based XTS

got 14 seconds into before I had to turn it off.

Maybe your FIOS is flooding your fetzer valves. You better let it sit for a while or you'll get iplock.

Cheers and Gears Drives: 2010 GMC Terrain SLE-2

Well, it's that whole part that is misaligned. So the seam that is visible in the picture isn't really visible to the driver, but the other half of that part forms the outer edge of the cubby below the HVAC controls. That edge was misaligned as well. As I've been trying to say, this is more of a difference between the Equinox and the Terrain. The part on the Equinox is a different shape than that on the Terrain. GM got the Equinox part right... the Terrain part, well, needs some sanding. Do you guys just want me to write reviews where all I do is sing the praises of GM and not point out where I feel they could improve? My goal here is to be intellectually honest with these reviews and provide GM with some constructive criticism. C&G will get access to other manufacturers very soon and I fully intend to treat them all equally when I write a review. -

Guys... again this issue was more pointing out the difference between the Equinox and Terrain. -

Yeah, that's why I described it as minor. Compared to the Equinox however, it really stood out. -
Thanks, I'll check it out.

If you have the same publication that I got this trivia from, please sit this one out. Tom and Ray looked forward to Xmas visits from Aunt Bertha. She always gave them the same present; two pairs of hand-knitted wool socks. Just before Christmas, 1951, they learned Aunt Bertha would not be coming. A few days later she passed away. The official cause of death was very common in 1951, but Aunt Bertha may have been it's last victim. After that year, no one died of this particular affliction. What was it?

Wasn't a problem. The only thing I didn't find right away on the Equinox was the power door locks which are on the center stack rather than the doors. The Lacrosse I just got has the same thing, albeit better marked. So I'm guessing this will be a new GM thing. -

Z28, you are indeed right. It was difficult to capture on photo. I had actually contemplated buying a micrometer to demonstrate but I felt that might be a little overboard. -
Cheers and Gears Drives: 2010 GMC Terrain SLE-2 With your questions, my full writeup of the 2010 GMC Terrain is now up. Full Review: 2010 GMC Terrain SLE-2
