  1. Those will be on an HHR in the near future I bet...
  2. I just bought a Magnum, and there is no intention of "dumping" it. It would be like dumping the new Camaro a couple years in. There is a LARGE Magnum enthusiasts group, and for good reason. The Aspen is a very nice SUV. I would rather see the "new" Durango dumped if anything needs to go. Or combine the two into one vehicle, take the Durango name and stick it on an improved Aspen. The Compass needs a facelift, the vehicle isn't the problem, it's the LOOKS imo. These kind of lists are easy to toss out, like saying the whole Buick/Pontiac brands should be dumped, and the Solstice, Malibu, Hummer, Cobalt etc should be dumped. Easy to toss names and "dumping" ideas out there, but in the long run it doesn't mean much and makes little sense...
  3. Yup, it was bought new, so warranty will cover it. Nobody towed with the truck, the bumper even states no towing, but it's never even had a hitch! Hard to make an appointment because it's being used for work, and a loaner isn't a great option. Should go in soon though, I'm trying to find any info I can before it goes in, I had a GM tech in it, he says something is funny too. I'll keep it updated once I find out!
  4. See? And just when I was starting to lose hope with you, ya go and prove me wrong. Be honest and up front if you sell it, not just for the buyer, but for karma.
  5. Cool sig pic- ever seen this pic before?
  6. I think it had more along the lines of "a TON of GEARING", rather than a ton of torque. More torque than a little 4 banger import for sure, but the DZ and MO 302's weren't famous for their "torque". They spun up quick, and usually had a decent gear in the rear.
  7. Well, would YOU want to buy a car from somebody who is admitting it's a dishonest description? I say be HONEST up front. Misrepresenting a car and ""pretending"" not to know what's wrong with it isn't right. It's wrong. Make the ad up describing it as "could need repairs", then answer questions as honestly as possible. The known problems don't have to be listed, but they definitely should be disclosed if asked about.
  8. Yeah, I agree. The 396 could beat the 302 in a straight line, but the Z28 was the better package. In my opinion anyways.... funner to drive for sure.
  9. LOL Couldn't agree more. Can you imagine BUYING the car for your wife or sister and THEN seeing this thread while trying to find out information about the car after it STARTS going bad? Instant lawsuit winner. I think the "unsuspecting fool" was already "raped". And owns it NOW.... KNOWING misrepresentation of a vehicle ain't a cool thing IMO.
  10. Not many Caddy droolers here?
  11. Excellent Nancy!
  12. Toss in some 60's Oldsmobile in a daringly different way.....
  13. Or some TRULY unique Buick...?
  14. Here. This is a cool looking Pontiac. 8 lug wheels too.....
  15. Come on Nancy, stop your crying now and quit hijacking the thread! (Remember- don't go away mad, just go away...? ) Resume thread guys!
  16. I'm sorry Nancy, did you have a point on topic that you wanted to add to the thread? All I keep hearing out your lipstick splattered mouth is
  17. I think a mini "ute", much like the old Dodge Rampage would be a good segment to try to go after. Small and economical, but practical in that it can be used to haul stuff. There is alot of people who drive one or two people at a time and don't NEED four seats, but still want to haul stuff every now and then.
  18. $1000
  19. Don't cry Nancy. I was just laughing at your taste, or lack thereof....
  20. LOL
  21. The new "heavy duty" Ford truck front end. What the heck are they thinking..???
  22. Egad- *Cadillac late model headlights... YACK! *SS Cobalt boy racer rear spoiler *Anything to do with styling like the Dodge MaxxCab concept of many moons ago.... (Honda Ridgline- are you watching?) *Rear "mini" doors opening suicide style, especially on sedans where the front door HAS to be opened first. *Big "bling" rims on huge SUVs. (They are NOT sports cars people! No need for a 30 series tire!) *Plastic cladding galore on the outside of vehicles *"Body kits" on mundane economical sedans
  23. Best GM car of all time for what? Looks? Performance? Daily driver? I like the 1963-1967 Corvettes the best. In their time they were ASTOUNDINGLY good looking cars comparative to anything the WORLD had to offer, forget about just the domestics. I like the Coupes best. I like the late model Corvettes for performance, bang for the buck, etc. I just don't like the LOOKS of the late model Corvette, not bad, but nothing to write home about IMO. Daily driver/utilitarian vehicle would probably go the the SSSilverado. Power, all wheel drive, decent looks- it's a good work vehicle IMO.
  24. I saw an article in the news about this- the US market for the GM/Chevy trucks is going stale. Maybe the imports (YES, "imports"- they aren't domestic to ME) like Toyota etc are taking an unwanted bite out of the piece of the pie, who knows....?
  25. Awkward shape and the wheel openings are terrible, tough to look past just THAT for me... reminds me of a Tiburon crossed with a Monte Carlo. No thanks!
