  1. I like it- IF something was done with the rear door styling I would like it even more! :AH-HA_wink: We have a black Avenger locally that looks pretty danged nice, big wheels, sits low. Clean looking car.
  2. Probably a nice truck, but the exterior styling doesn't do it for me at all.
  3. Well it's pretty easy to guess the BFT part anyways....? LOL I like the blue too.
  4. Dodge Colts came with 8 speed trannies 25 years ago! Was it a Colt?
  5. Caravans and Town & Country vans have ALWAYS looked nearly identical, have they not?? Grill, a bit of trim, and the interiors were different but I could never tell them apart from a side glimpse? *shrugs*
  6. CMG

    Chevy Express

THE DANGED INTERIOR LIGHT SWITCH!!!!!!!!! Who designed the interior light switch? Were they JOKING? Anybody have a Chevy Express van? Have you turned the interior lights on lately? LOL!!!!!!!!
  7. My buddy bought a brand new one 8 days ago, it's white and loaded. The DVD swings down from the roof in the rear. The Avalanche sure looks 1000% better than the first version with the plastic cladding, weird wheelwell openings etc.. I like the new version.
  8. The deep horizontally split grill reminds me of a Firebird or two of days gone by..... Overall I think the Venom resembles something from the Pontiac camp more than anything else, if someone didn't know what it was or had never seen it before I think it would be easy to MISTAKENLY assume it was a Pontiac..?
  9. The deep door ribs remind me of a few Pontiac "muscle car concepts" from a little while ago....
  10. Hahaha That's the pot calling the kettle black.... :AH-HA_wink: The Venom looks alot like the 4th gen Firebird family. It's front end reminds me of Pontiac concepts of old too. I think BrewSwillis is pretty accurate in his assessment. Intelligent and insightful too! LOL
  11. When you first posted the Venom pic I thought it looked like a Pontiac Trans Am concept. It looks alot like the Camaro/Firebird 4th gen shape but it looks like the Pontiac guys got ahold of it...? Maybe a Trans Am or Firebird Formula concept is what came to mind, I was surprised it was a Chrysler, but I had never seen it before!
  12. When the car comes out I bet not many will care about the B pillar anyways.
  13. What the heck is that "Camino" in your pic, an Aussie version or? I always see it and wonder. I like the Camino/Ute stuff. North America doesn't seem to embrace it like down under..?
  14. I've seen your drawings. NO THANKS. LOL
  15. What's the intended usage? Where is the customary pic?
  16. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the crash where the driver was all involved with her cell phone, and not the road..? I don't see a cell phone reference in those stories, but I'm pretty sure this is the same story... Terrible indeed. Little kids should have a much more responsible driver behind the wheel regardless.
  17. I prefer the "Holden look" to the "Pontiac look" for the Monaro/GTO, (Yeah, I'm weird) but I'm not sure about what you mean with the G8...?
  18. If it DOES get the same transmission as the Challenger I sure hope it isn't "clunky", hey reg? :AH-HA_wink: LOL!!!!!
  19. I sure don't like it. I agree with the above post- WHY??? Is it a throwback to the days of the Pontiac Jaguar D type? LOL I wouldn't even want an "SD" badge on it. It's like the Dodge "Daytona" truck with a wing. :AH-HA_wink: Instead of reducing a small convertible's interior to ONE SEAT, I would rather see something of interest that is useful...? *shrugs*
  20. I agree. The wings look a little bit on the cheesy side. OK, alot on the cheesy side.... :AH-HA_wink: I wanna see the pics too, I wonder what they will be........
  21. I agree. The Mustang won't be going anywhere, it should outsell both the MoPar and the GM easily IMO. It's a good car at good prices.
  22. Imagine if North America had the same automobile import restrictions as Japan has had through the years.... :AH-HA_wink:
  23. Window mechanisms can be made prettttty compact nowadays, if there was room it should be a no-brainer, the windows SHOULD be made to roll down if it's a hardtop people are going for. IMO anyways.
  24. You would lose structural integrity. The car wouldn't have the same rigidity and torsional stability etc. They do put the B pillars in for a reason. We used to put convertible frames in the 1969 Chevelles we used to run, they were a boxed frame. We were street racing, nothing showed and it all looked stock underneath, but gave us a little more strength than a c channel stock frame. Maybe a kit could be made to strengthen the substructure and remove the B pillars, I'm not sure how much room is available in the 1/4 panel pockets and under the car......
  25. LOL I'm gonna! I'm sure he has no idea! His truck is the powerful one, i-something on the side....
