  1. And one more..... I once owned this 1966 Belvedere 2 door sedan, it is an original 426 Hemi/ auto car. It's a nice car, it's desirable, it's very fast for it's time, but IMO it is a BLAND looking car...? Not meant as an "insult", just an observation. Tell me if I'm wrong?
  2. OK, I saved you some work. Like I said in the other thread, my buddies don't refer to this car of mine as "bland", they refer to it as UGLY! LOL I think it cost 3 times what a new Corvette cost when it was new, not sure how relating to new Corvette prices matter, but.... My latest driver.
  3. It's a Coupe I've had since the early 80's. Here ya go Sixty8panther, this Jensen isn't waht my buddies call "bland". They all call it UGLY.
  4. LOL I'm not sure I'M the one with the "my Dad is bigger than yours" mentality... LOL Read your post? Take a boo in the Project Chronicles, the last car I bought for a driver/ parts chaser is in there. It's not the best car in the world, it isn't superior in any way shape or form over what somebody else likes, but it ISN'T bland... Like I said, I've had lots of cars, still do- that are of every description. Bland USUALLY isn't one of them.... :AH-HA_wink:
  5. Actually if you ever actually READ what I post, it's my WIFE's Magnum. Not mine. And usually the "bitch fights" are with the ignorant posts, there are lots of guys out there who "don't like Chryslers", some of my best friends being among them. Cars are cars, who cares what certain people like and dislike?
  6. Cheap bang for the buck performance in an attractive package. It's lighter weight, built cheaper, and it will most likely always sell more. Mustangs have been unbeatable for years as far as bang for the buck, and neither the Challenger nor the Camaro will change that in the next few years I bet...?
  7. The Challenger and the Camaro are both going to be bigger than the Challenger and Camaro guys hoped for, but they will still be nice cars. On the flip side is the Mustang, which is smaller, but guys who sit in the interior will be looking out of the Mustang at the Challenger and Camaro guys with envy in their eyes.... :AH-HA_wink: LOL
  8. Try an Iso or a hybrid or two, you don't need to chop up a Mercedes looking for an import with a SBC, not IMO anyways. I would much rather an AMG transplant, you could actually sell it down the road..? I did like the little Scarab Datsun Z cars....
  9. I like the 59 and 60 Caddies, and the 61 is nice. We cruised one in the late 80's, it was fairly mint and cost $3000 Canadian, couldn't pass it up. A small block Chevy conversion in a vintage Caddy is a definite no-no, it's like tossing a 5.0 liter Ford engine into a Duesenberg, or a 360 crate engine into a Tucker... on a smaller scale. :AH-HA_wink:
  10. Nothing anywhere near that bland. Yes, that's an honest answer.
  11. The 6.9s made an impression on me when they came out, but for performance, not looks! Gullwings were nice cars, but styling wise I like alot of other manufacturers than Mercedes, they were sort of like a Volvo to me over the years, it didn't matter how nice the car was or how good the engineering was, they were too bland for my taste. *shrugs*
  12. I like some of the AMG stuff, and the new aero styled sedans, but the old Mercedes stuff never did much for me at all.
  13. Yup, too many people trying to categorize today's cars with yesterday's terminology IMO too...
  14. LOL We musta grown up on different sides of town......... :AH-HA_wink:
  15. Sorry, I'll change my whole country's measuring system next time so you understand better... LOL Now, I notice you never answered the Aztek questions.... that's odd, certainly not like you....?
  16. Strangely I don't think he was referring to the 25 year old blandmobile.... :AH-HA_wink: LOL
  17. Ya know, it's kinda like bashing one's head against a brick wall, but let's try with you anyways reg..... 1) What did you pay for your Aztek? 2) What was the MSRP? (Year, options etc) 3) What do you think you are going to get for your Aztek? Let's start with those three easy questions, if you can answer with direct answers and not go off on some weird tangent, or two.... I'll be impressed!
  18. We get over 20mpg combined easily. We get closer to 30mpg on long trips, we have Imperial gallons, but we still get alot better mileage than you pretend the LXs get.
  19. When I first saw pics I liked them, but now that I've seen them in person I'm starting to REALLY like them. My favorite color so far for the new Challengers is black too!
  20. I should hope the 2.7 Magnums gets over 20mpg, our Magnum R/T with a 5.7 Hemi does. As for "resale value" and "half MSRP" comments... I'm sure you know you can buy many brand new trucks for close to HALF of MSRP right now. BRAND NEW. Name a vehicle YOU think has great resale value. (Your Aztek? hahaha) I should hope the Magnum's sales are declining. It's been DISCONTINUED. LOL You need a new routine reg!
  21. Here SMK4565, you are great at posting about the 300C being a "$40,000 car", but in two minutes I found a 2008 Chrysler 300C with a 5.7 Hemi with MDS, 78 miles on the odometer for $26,000.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-CHRYSL...1QQcmdZViewItem I found lots of SRT8 Chrysler 300s for less than $40,000. Where do you get your price guesses from? LOL
  22. The 300c has a great interior, the 300 SRT8 is even better. Are you the new Chrysler troll? Step right up! LOL
  23. Trollin, trollin, trollin, RAWHIDE! LOL
  24. Do you see ANYTHING that looks a little suspect here reg? LOL Do you know what a "contradiction" is reg? LOL My wife is a woman lst time I checked. SHE bought her Magnum R/T, SHE loves it, and SHE drives it every day. We know LOTS of Magnum owners that are women, the estrogen kind... you know. ALL vehicles that are V8 and of a fair size are having difficulties selling, trucks, SUVs and cars. It's called a poor economy and high gas prices. You still don't get it though, do you reg?
  25. Yup, looks like a marked improvement to me too. I'm obviously old though, I think the earlier interior was way too plush for the Jeep brand, I'm used to steel dashes and removable doors...
