1. He plays a bad guy on "Heroes"....although I've never seen the show.......
2. So.....first date tonight..... He's 24.....so we'll see how it goes...... His whole thing is that he likes older guys because he can't stand all the games and stuff that constantly seems to be played with guys his age that he tries to date. We will see if he lives up to his own standard.....
3. Hey guys......the Family just got a li'l bit bigger here on ole C&G....! (And a nice addition too I might add.....) :gay: MikeyMo......(a somewhat belated) welcome to the group!
4. GMAC's challenges today are very real, make no mistake. And you can argue they are doing what they have to do considering the situation they are in. However, I wouldn't say this "about-face" in lending practices is nearly as simple to describe as "requiring more resonsible lending standards." We aren't talking about foolishness like financing a 450-fica score customer with a 160% advance and no down......we are talking about customers with decent credit (say 600's) or challenged credit (high-500's) not even getting a shot anymore. GMAC's requirement of at least a 700-fica score is set-in-stone from the standpoint that if you are a 693-fica score, let's say...(my customer from Saturday night)....GMAC won't negotiate...won't look at the deal....no matter how much money the customer has down....no matter how "good" their 693 credit is (i.e....paid car loans, no deliquencies, etc.) To follow that up, GMAC, IF they finance that 700-fica customer, won't finance ANY amount over vehicle invoice. That includes taxes and fees. Even if you had a GM product that you could sell for window sticker (Escalade Hybrid, CTS-V)....you won't be financing it thru GMAC (unless the customer comes up with cash down to cover the cost of taxes, fees, and profit from window sticker to invoice. (This is not even to mention if you have a customer you are un-burying from their last vehicle.) So, you are right....prolly what they have to do in today's times......but I'll tell you, it does smell damn fishy still...in any event....
5. Oh, no....that is just wrong..... ....but funny.....
6. The O.C.

Pictures!

Wow.....uh....PCS....you are quite the handsome devil...... You SHOULD have gotten the nip piercing.....then you could have sent us all a pic of it..... <unexpected man-crush....unexpected man-crush....unexpected man-crush warning>
7. If you go to Wikipedia and search on "Star Trek (movie)" and scroll down, you'll see a picture of the new Enterprise bridge with Kirk (Chris Pine.....oooooo so f@#king hot) and McCoy...... I have to say.....the new bridge is SO cool, it's incredible....! Somehow, they were able to design a bridge that looks futuristic compared to today's times.....yet captures the "cheesy" spirit of the original (and I say "cheesy" in a good way.) Think "Enterprise" meets "Apple's IPod" and you'll get an idea of what it looks like. AND, Pine's "slouch" in the captain's chair seems PURE William Shatner..... You straight boys can let us all know what you think of the Yeoman's skirt..... I can't wait for 050809 (one day before my birthday....!) Oldsmoboi....whaddya think?
8. One thing I'm finding nice about Las Vegas.....is the fact that, yes, Vegas is now a rather large city.....with numerous suburbs spirialing out away from the Strip.....BUT....from my house, in 45 minutes (less than an hour, I stress) I can be up at Mt. Charleston.....8,000 feet up.....in the midst of pine trees and forests...... It's SO significant, the change in landscape, (and temperature.....an easy span of 30 degrees)....that you simply can't believe there is a desert 6,000 feet below you. In fact, with a 45 min travel time back to the sprawl of Las Vegas, one could easily imagine living up in the mountains and commuting down to a job in the city (if you could deal with the drive every day.) HELL, in L.A., a 45 minute commute for me could barely take me from O.C. past Long Beach for gawd's sake.....
9. "....old enough to pee? old enough for me...." You're going to prison.......I'm goin' straight to hell......
10. 85 degrees (F), bright sun, no wind.....here in Sin City......
11. There are many of us here at the dealership that wonder if GMAC's recent withdrawel (for all practical purposes) from auto financing or leasing is some sort of calculated effort on behalf of Cerebus to deal a major blow to GM and their dealerships?
12. It's one of the big things that have gone wrong with our country. People not minding their own lives and trying to push their belief systems on way too many other people. It's the same thing as these people that threaten to call Child Protective Services should you <gasp> spank your unruly, misbehaving child in the grocery store.... Or like that bitch from MI years back that wanted to ban "...Married, with Children...." because she found it offensive......NEVER MIND that there are probably millions of people around the country that DIDN'T find it offensive and actually enjoyed the show..... I would have been just as torqued off by this woman as you were....... (Slow, dimwitted women at the cashier counter, especially if they are paying by check......ugh.......now that a WHOLE 'nuther thread in and of itself......)
13. Okay......thought I'd get the C&G's team's feedback on this interesting topic (well interesting to me at least.) I get $h! all the time from my friends because I'm 38 and I always end up dating guys in their mid-20's. I'm always asked....."Why don't you date guys your age or older?" So I've been thinking about it alot.....and I don't have an answer. It just seems that the guys I'm attracted to and end up falling emotionally for tend to be somewhere around 10-12 years younger than me. Before the "Daddy Complex" jokes start......LOL.....it's not that at all. I've always looked to my boyfriends, or guys I'm dating, as equals in our relationship.....not as me being the "leader" in the relationship just because I'm older..... It's not that I don't find older guys attractive or what-not.....it's just that way more often than not, it's the younger guy I tend to fall for. AND, I have a friend (our GSM here at the dealership too) that is 48.....and his wife of 1.5 years is only 29. That's almost 20 years' difference. Yet, they are so in love, and have such a wonderful relationship, it seems only natural. He doesn't seem 20 years older than her....and she doesn't seem 20 years younger than him. In the end, I truly believe it's all about the person.....I truly don't think age (or race, or whatever) matters. It's just interesting that I always find myself back with the (somewhat significantly) younger guys........
14. You know what they say about tall guys........
15. DAMN.....my work computer blocks those links.... I'll have to wait until I get home tonight to go check out your Palmela Handerson material you've got on here...... (Get it...? "Pamela Anderson" becomes "Palmela Handerson".....heheheheeh.....although doesn't quite work for me 'cause I'm gay....I wouldn't be masturbating to Pamela anyways.....but still a funny one....)
16. The teacher said "OMG, you were hot"....?? How RUDE! I think you're a cutie Paulie!
17. Could be something that says whoever buys Hummer has to keep him as CEO for a specified amount of time......????
18. Well, I tried to put some subtle moves on you that weekend we did the car show, but you didn't seem to respond positively to my advances.....what a coup' that would have been.....convertin' the Croc! (just kidding......I wasn't puttin' any moves on you....)
19. Best quote of the entire evening...... McCain: "Senator, I'm not George Bush. If you wanted to run against Bush, you should have run 4 years ago...!"
