  1. Cadillac’s EV model names would fit well in Ioniq..
  2. Monday
  3. So you going to keep it stock, or lift it on 35s for the brodozer look or slam it on 26s?
  4. I suspect the full size Ram-based 3 row models (Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer) will be in Tahoe/Suburban price range or higher, so definitely starting above $50k. The 3 row Grand Cherokee-based midsize will probably be priced and trimmed like the GC with a broad range of trims at a range of price points.
  5. Maybe not in the US, but in Europe and Asia they have been huge...in many European countries they have been 50-75% of the market...
  6. Sweet truck..like the color. I haven't seen a 2nd gen Avalanche in ages in any condition.
  7. I saw a strange forest service truck here in the Cleveland suburbs a while back..it was that funky green w forest service decals on the doors...but it was a pre-97 Jeep XJ Cherokee...in very clean shape. Sort of a WTF moment, though..in what time warp is the forest service driving 25-30 yr old vehicles?
  8. Front fascias are the same, grilles differ. Headlights are the same...and the E-class is the only MB line w/ 4 bodystyles..sedan, coupe, convertible and wagon.
  9. True...but it is a 2 row..I think he wanted something larger.
  10. hmmmm. GMC doesn't have a model that starts w/ G with a trim level starting with G, so that seems to rule that out... Or 3 row GMC..an Acadia or Yukon?
  11. Hmmm...the Durango is in it's 3rd generation.
  12. I'm still going w/ the largish 3 row NA-V8 SUVs...Durango or previous gen GLS... smaller than the BOF full size SUVs and more manageable.
  13. I was thinking a full-size truck or SUV would have trouble fitting in your driveway (thought it was steep/narrow and required a turn at the bottom to get in the garage), but then I remember you had an Avalanche previously.
  14. 4+4+8=16 now 4+8+8=20 25% more so a V8 replacing a 4, keeping the Encore and Toronado. my guess is the GLS or Durango.
  15. I do recall discussion of Merc GLE/GLS, Grand Cherokee Summit and Durango also at one time..
  16. @balthazar might like this old truck on Hoovie's garage... a forest service green longbed 2wd '03 Chevy Silverado...with a manual and 6.0 V8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGRf3iXimvg&t=29s
  17. 2 years from concept announcement to production is pretty typical for many companies.
  18. I see a lot of similarity to the Velar in the shape and lines (not the details). The Velar is my favorite of the LR/RR models. The Flex I would call a CUV, I guess...the labels wagon and CUV seem to be hazy as to what is what. For example, the Volvo V90 I would call a wagon, but the XC90 I'd call a CUV or SUV... body height definitely plays into what is a wagon or CUV.....if the body height is more or less the same as an equivalent sedan, then it's a wagon IMO...
  19. I was thinking XT3 since it is closer to Encore sized. Anyway, welcome back, Drew...we've missed you!
  20. Yeah, I'm only going out once a week at most, so not seeing any classics that may be out and about.. been a stay-at-home summer.
  21. The black lower body trim certainly gives it the appearance of a slimmer profile...but I think it's more CUV tall than wagon slim...I see a bit of Lincoln Aviator in the lines, with that vertical narrowing as you go front to back.
  22. This was designed as an EV, so that's not going to happen...and we are talking about GM..it would have had a transverse 2.0 4 had it been an ICE product.. I'd love to have seen GM build a powerful V8 CUV to compete w/ the Cayenne, but that window of opportunity is past...GM's future is electric as they have stated. GM is committed to the EV future...whether they will be successful or not only time will tell...
  23. I also like how there clearly is an actual window in the C-pillar behind the door and not fake trim... they must not have let the CT5 designer near this. wagon, CUV, or non-sedan... it's interesting however it gets categorized...
  24. Sexy. I like the unique taillight treatment, the long hood, the greenhouse and proportions...
  25. I miss my '87 GT and my Dad's '69 Sportsroof..haven't see them in over 3 years. I have the titles,, though.
