it looks like a sweet package...I really like the current generation of Volvo products, esp. the wagons. Really like their current interior and exterior designs.- 36 replies

Suburbans had those in the 80s also....a buddy had an '89 w/ them. I do wonder what the first modern car was with them, though. IIRC, '80s S-Class Mercedes had them in the back of the center console, as many vehicles today do (my '14 Jeep has them, but my '00 didn't). ..but as for a domestic car, no idea. I can't recall if my sister's '00 DTS had them...it had a huge rear seat area, loads of legroom.

Hot August (2020) days or nights of car spotting
Robert Hall replied to trinacriabob's topic in The Lounge
Went to the gas station and car wash today, first time I'd been to either in almost 6 months. Felt strange but almost 'normal'. Saw a dark blue C8 Corvette at the gas station, had a temporary tag and the black rear lower fascia was cracked out and taped in place. -
Yes...Australia, New Zealand, India, any Commonwealth nation or former Commonwealth nation would use British English spellings, I think... And there is aluminum vs aluminium. My favorite is diarrhea vs diarrhoea. I see at daily at work in emails since I work w/ an India team and most of my client's management are based in the Caribbean.

Canada or the UK I suspect.

I can eat them in small quantities. Unlike beets. Beets are no bueno for me.

Ram News: 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Continues FCA's Hellcat Obsession

I'd love to see Chevy bring back the Blazer name for an off-road capable 2dr full size SUV, or as a midsize 2dr SUV based on the Colorado. It's a great name wasted on a generic appliance as it is now, IMO. -

I'll probably take a look down the road at the Bronco, esp. in a 2dr... I had a Bronco II back in the day and always liked the full size Broncos. -
Yum...I remember stopping in Dateland, AZ down off of I-8 between Phoenix and Yuma whilst on the way to San Diego a few years ago. Got some local fresh dates..tasty.

Some like retro styling, some don't. Time will tell as to how it does in the market. You couldn't fit in it anyway, so it's a moot point for you. -

There are many things. The new Bronco definitely has a retro modern feel, some touches from the '66-77 1st gen Bronco. It's not quite as retro as the modern Challenger is or the '05-09 Mustang was, though, IMO. -

The Raptor Ranger has been in production for a few years outside NA. Maybe they will do a Raptor version of the next gen one in NA. Sounds like they already have multiple pretty serious off road versions of the Bronco anyway, with the Badlands and Wildtrak w/ Sasquatch package... -

And remember, a Durango is basically a long wheelbase 3 row WK2 Grand Cherokee with different styling. A very solid product all around though a decade old now.. 3rd gen Durango is unibody, remember it's a WK2 Grand Cherokee variation. The 1st and 2nd gen Durangos were BOF. -

The GLS is similar in size to the Durango. V8, 3 row. At a much higher price point, of course. It's not like Dodge is competing with M-B. The Durango competes w/ the Acadia, Traverse, Explorer, etc.. -

How about a high performance version of the Silverado using the 6.2 supercharged 755 hp LT5 V8 from the C7 ZR-1...AWD, lowered on 22s, call it the Silverado Defecator... that would be rad. -

Or for the ultimate power-to-weight ratio, a Fiat 500 Hellcat. -

Had to run to the post office this morning, saw a really clean maroon 1st gen Aurora. -

Probably...looks like a low trim level based on the limited amount of chrome on the sides. The LeSabre was also available w/ the 455.
-
Looks like a 1970 LeSabre. Back then, 3 ventiports were on the B-body, and 4 ventiports were on the C-body (Electra). The middle model (Wildcat) usually didn't have them..

Yep, I see them, the brown UPS vans and white Fed Ex vans pretty often. A couple years ago I happened to step out one morning to see an Amazon van, Fed Ex van, and UPS van parked in a row in front of my house, and a USPS truck across the street...like they had synchronized their deliveries.... -
Maybe headroom for tall people that are long of torso? I've sat in the CT4 and CT5 and found them comfortable...
