  4. I used to see a clapped-out '80s Camaro with Honda, Type R, and VTEC badges...
  5. Led Zeppelin-In the Evening
  6. This reminds me of what a buddy of mine did in college..he had a boxy, worn out '80s Nissan Sentra 2dr...put BMW roundels and 318i badging on it..
  7. Those were legit, though...Acura SLX.
  8. About a decade ago, a coworker and friend was going thru a divorce and moved in w/ me for about a month...got along pretty well, but we did argue over the TV (he wanted to watch ESPN 24/7). We have stayed friends over the years, though.
  9. Whether it would be in a Solstice or a Corvette, that 3.6 DI V6 would make a nice engine in sub-3000lb sports car, I think...
  10. Hmm...looks like I will get $0. Whoopie.
  11. Wow..I don't remember the Precept. Very Citroen-eque styling.
  12. Maybe the previous pics were of the hatchback and this is the sedan (assuming the Insignia will have 4dr sedan and 5dr hatchback bodies like the Vectra).. ?
  13. springs
  14. I read a joke years ago about Ireland converting from RHD to LHD...they were going to go for a phased approach--buses then trucks then cars..chaos would ensue.
  15. Again, though, that source is probably just spewing BS...no one really knows what the C7 is going to be like outside of GM...wait a few years and see..
  16. John C. Dvorak's 'Cranky Geeks' podcast.
  17. That's stupid...how does GM get into such nonsense with their contracts?
  18. There is a lot more to performance than simply acceleration..with a sports car, handling is way more important...and less weight is definitely a good thing for handling.
  19. Hmmm..so does this mean some Fits are Unfit to Go?
  20. It's less homely than the previous Forester..
  21. Reading the article, if it could lose 300-400lbs, then 350hp is plenty... going on a diet is a good thing for sports cars..
  22. Supposedly the Fusion is getting a facelift, revised interior, and the Duratec 3.5 engine for '09.
  23. I watch a lot of movies...probably 2-3 per week on average. As far as the bizzare and truly wierd, here's my list of some I've seen over the years and liked.. Delicatessen Brazil Mulholland Drive Inland Empire Lost Highway Alphaville Repo Man Raising Arizona Fargo Wicker Man (original) Blue Velvet Dune Wild at Heart Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me
  24. I wonder if Chevrolet Europe will ever get any legitimately Chevy cars (besides the Corvette), rather than just peddling rebadged Daewoo generics?
  25. Cool... as a kid, I geeked out on the original Star Trek in reruns in the '80s..got into ST with the first movie, enjoyed all the TOS-based movies... watched TNG but never really liked it, DSN, or Voyager as much as the original..
