  1. Maybe, but will the target market (moms) really care? They are more likely to be concerned about cupholder count and kid-friendly features.. One thing I noticed is it seems no thought was put into front licence plate placement...the plate and holder is going to ruin the look of that nice pointy lower grille..
  2. Interesting...so PA has a Jefferson County also... I lived my first decade in Steubenville in Jefferson County, Ohio, about 35 miles west of Pittsburgh.
  3. KoRn
  4. Yeah..the upper, reachable parts are painted body color..he keeps it nice and shiny, and all the hoses and black boxes shiny..
  5. My nutty brother waxes the firewall of his Ranger...and inside the bed, etc. He has way too much time on his hands (he cleans any mud, etc off his cars after each drive).
  6. The Mazda 6 is not bad, but the interior isn't anything special.. the RL is all about the interior.
  7. Read that..glad I didn't watch the show... Autoblog's play-by-play reminds me of Dave Barry's hilarious 24 play-by-plays from last season..
  8. A great one in recent times was Johnny Cash's cover of NIN's 'Hurt'...love that song in both versions. I don't know if it got any country radio airplay, though..
  9. It would be cool if GM would take one of those, clean it up, drop in the V8/Hybrid drivetrain..would make a neat show vehicle.
  10. The last gen Accord in profile (before the '06 MCE) looked a lot like a smoother version of the FWD Mercury Cougar from a few years ago, IMHO...
  11. potatoe
  12. Pretty funny... speaking of energy drinks, here is the Ultimate Energy Drink---Steven Segal's Lightning Bolt--in Cherry Charge and Asian Experience flavors! Lightning Bolt

I have to laugh at the $81 set of floormats..what nonsense. And $400 for an iPod and USB adapter? Should be standard. BMW certainly knows how to stick it to people w/ the options.
  14. Sounds like he's got some issues w/ his offspring. My sister got some flack from my folks (hard core Ford buyers) back in the '80s when she bought Datsun Z's (4 in a row), and I got a bit of flack (esp. from my redneck brother) when I bought a BMW and then a Jeep...
  15. Hmmm..the rear window looks pretty high and small...looks like it will big blind spots directly behind and in the quarters..
  16. Looks good in red.
  17. I used to have a lot of issues with spicy Asian food, esp. Indian and Thai. But Imodium is my friend...take 2-3 before eating, 2-3 after, and my bowels are happy and stable..
  18. Going out for sushi & drinks can get pricey fast...every time I've gone out for sushi it's usually $25-40 a head minimum. Sometimes I take wasabi straight, other times I've mixed it with soy sauce or sriaracha (the big red bottle). Sushi always reminds me of California, since that is where I first discovered it a decade ago...I was in San Francisco for the Java One conference... one night, I was hanging out w/ some Sun consultant buddies, and we stuffed 5 guys into a Mustang Cobra and drove over to Yoshi's Jazz Club and Sushi restaurant in Jack London Square, Oakland..I still remember that night quite well, great music, great sake, great sushi..
  19. Yeah...settle down, buy a Corolla, keep it 10 years..
  20. At work, my project manager's husband works for NASCAR, doing something with advertising.. they moved to Denver from Charlotte a few years back..they have a Honda Accord and a Tundra, both with #3 and NASCAR decals....fans of an American racing series driving their American made Japanese vehicles..
  21. That would be nice...FWD Impala, RWD Caprice. Maybe a LWB Epsilon II variant for the next Impala?

They make great used car buys, IMHO...I really enjoyed my '96 M3...(bought it used in '98). Compact and light, very balanced cars.

BMW has long had lengthy, pricey option lists...same with the 3 and 5 series..there's a huge price difference between a base model and a fully loaded one.
  24. Yeah, it would make a neat coffee table book... when I lived in an apartment, there was a neighbor who drove about a baby-blue 1950 Plymouth 4dr....amazing to see something like driven in the '90s.
  25. Hmmm...in the past week, I've eaten at a Tibetian place (today for lunch), an Indian buffet, a Chinese place, a Mexican place, a Thai place, and an Italian restaurant. Plus Einstein's Bagels a couple times and Starbucks. Thai is probably my favorite 'ethnic' food, followed by Indian and then Vietnamese (I love the noodle bowls and pho soup). I also like Greek and Middle Eastern cuisine occasionally. I go for French and German occasionally also ... I also like 'mercun' ethnic food, like BBQ and Cajun/Louisiana cuisine.
